Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs. Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications. Change as required. * Apply lubrication to equipment as required on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. * Clean, maintain and secure company tools and work areas. * Properly use chains and slings based on load capacity. * Proficiently operate a wide variety of tools and equipment, e.g., hand tools, socket sets, wrenches, chain hoists, hydraulic jacks and cranes, hi-lifts, pneumatic wrenches, micrometers, Vernier calipers, levels, drill presses, grinders, etc. Able to read, interpret and use blueprints, drawings, sketches, and measurements. * Be capable of using Computerized Maintenance Management software to create work notifications, look -up and order parts, print work orders, and enter time confirmations.
