SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Member Service Center Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for regularly monitoring and evaluating phone interactions between members and employees. The Quality Assurance Analyst will provide feedback to call center & Ecommerce agents to reinforce or sustain work expectations, processes, and adherence to phone security procedures. The incumbent will also share the agent's feedback with their direct manager and provide recommended coaching plans as needed.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABLITIES AND FUNCTIONS:
Perform objective call evaluations. Identify trends or issues that impact member satisfaction and quality standard Communicate, document and report skill deficiencies, member concerns and call trends to Managers
Ensure that employees are using the correct tools, following company policies and procedures, providing accurate and objective evaluations, and are performing ethically. To achieve objectives the job incumbent is required to perform the following:
Listen to recorded and/or live interactions between Member Service Center employees and Members on a monthly basis.
Review and score the recorded and/or live interactions.
Provide documentation and/or verbal feedback to Member Service Center Representative and respective Manager. Support and partner with Manager in the coaching, evaluation, or on further research/clarification of issues for quality assurance. Facilitate and attend calibration sessions.
Ensures quality control within the MSC to be in compliance with Tower's policies and procedures as well as State and Federal regulations.
Strategize process improvements that will help ensure sound department operation, maximize efficiency and member satisfaction.
Maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance including bank secrecy and anti-money laundering laws.
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Tower's products and services, and policies and procedures.
Monitor and comply with all established security, internal audit, and applicable government policies and regulations.
Maintain required records and provide reports as required by Member Service Center Management Team.
Maintain knowledge of current functions of the Member Service Center including mail and electronic avenues.
Complete Regulatory Training Modules as required.
Ensure that the Member Service Center agents complete all required training in a timely manner. This includes training provided by the Member Service Center and the IT department.
Resolves MSC balancing issues, assisting the MSC Seniors with testing of new releases and being available to provide access to the MSC during non-business hours to support Credit Union needs.
Performs other Quality auditing functions and/or other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Has knowledge of and adheres to credit union policies and procedures and all regulations related to the Bank Secrecy Act, the USA PATRIOT Act and OFAC.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Possession of an Associate's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
Two years or more at a financial institution providing member service and support in a Member Service Center environment.
Knowledge of banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including the methods and principles of sound business practices. Knowledge of intranet/internet, effective oral, written and interpersonal skills required to provide feedback on Call Center Quality issues/concerns. Exceptional listening and analytical skills. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access preferred. Bilingual skills a plus.
Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job DescriptionThe Logistics Quality Specialist (LQS) is responsible for Logistics Quality Assurance (LQA) within their assigned logistics pipeline of the Vehicle Operations network, operations on-site at a designated port. This role ensures compliance with LQA and industry standards (e.g. AIAG, AAR) across Vessel, Port, Truck, and Rail operations by implementing, analyzing, and continuously improving quality processes. Using Quality Assurance and LEAN methodologies, the LQS drives performance against KPIs, optimizes throughput, and supports the achievement of retail-sales objectives.
The role conducts LQA audits, facilities root-cause analysis and provides corrective action to achieve sustainable improvements. Compile and analyze quality and claims data, applying statistical and analytical methods to validate results. Acting as the Voice-of-Quality, the LQS collaborates with internal teams and external vendors, partnering with stakeholders across Port Operations, Transportation Management and LQA to maintain consistent, high-quality standards throughout the logistics pipeline.
Quality Administration - 35%
Collaborate with vehicle quality engineering, supplier quality assurance, accessory engineering, local Port Operations, local Port/Vessel/Truck/Rail vendors, and other departments to investigate quality concerns and implement corrective action and preventive actions within the local Port facility and Transportation pipeline.
Analyze and report local Transportation pipeline quality data (inspection , claims , warranty , field data, etc.) to identify any trends and implement quality improvements.
Audit stop ship/reworks repair process at the local Port; develop containment and damage prevention plans with support from Port Operations, management, Technical Services (TSD), MC, and any other relevant teams to ensure repair of all affected units.
Coordinate local quality performance reviews and improvement initiatives with vendors and internal teams; present finding and implement corrective actions to enhance quality outcomes.
Facilitate the application of LEAN concepts and engineering principles at the local Port and across the Transportation pipeline, including Kaizen activities aimed at improving logistics quality.
Conduct Gemba reviews at the local port, assessing installation, operations, processes, tools, equipment, and facilities for improvement and countermeasure.
Communicate effectively with management and vehicle operations teams to support quality initiatives that meet U.S. customer expectations.
Provide training and guidance to improve quality, LEAN initiatives, engineering principles and vehicle flow efficiency.
Facilitate quality improvement strategies and activities with local Port Operations and vendors to ensure quality standards, including FQIR process for the Port and Transportation pipeline.
Serve as backup for local Port Manager functions during absences or when additional support is required.
Quality Audits & Assurance - 30%
Perform local Port and Transportation pipeline audit process, recording and reporting findings.
Apply engineering methods to investigate quality concerns and implement effective countermeasures.
Document and track quality concerns through countermeasure process to ensure effective resolution by established KPIs.
Analyze and report audit data for review with LQA Management, Port Operations, and Port/Vessel/Truck/Rail vendors.
Conduct regular trendanalysis on audit data to develop and implement countermeasures and improvement projects with processor and carriers.
Support annual Corporate audits and facilitate 8D process with Port Operations and vendors.
Perform root cause analysis for internal and external concerns, including 8D investigations, PCRs, FQIRs, countermeasures. Ensure investigations, containment, and corrective actions meet established timelines.
Issue reports, and communications to teams and management ensuring to ensure completed vehicle quality standards are maintained.
Issue FQIRS/PCRs and investigate vehicle, accessory part or process-related concerns; collaborate with teams to implement both short-term and long-term corrective actions .
Issue Field Damage Reports (FDR) to communicate concerns, classify vehicle based on damages and coordinate investigations to determine cause and implement preventive measures.
Provide quality buy-off for repairs to ensure quality standards are upheld.
Support time study analysis, from data gathering to process confirmations.
Accessory Parts & Installation - 20%
Analyze accessory quality standards by inspecting and monitoring local Port contractors' installations to ensure conformance with operational and appearance specifications .
Ensure compliance to quality standards and best practices to improve safety, efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness .
Collaborate with accessory engineering, vehicle operations, parts supply chain and supplier quality groups to investigate accessory part concerns; issue countermeasure requests and confirm corrective actions
Coordinate accessory parts availability to meet daily production needs, including ordering, processing shipments, resolving issues, and ensuring accurate inventory records in parts system.
Claims Processing - 15%
Approve Vessel Survey claims and confirm processor only submit repairs listed on the survey.
Ensure all Claim KPIs are met, including timely processing by contractors.
Provide MDV classification for vehicles damaged at the local Port and within the Transportation Pipeline.
Analyze and report claims data to identify trends, implement countermeasures, and initiate improvement projects with processors and carriers.
Report accessory parts shortages, delivery discrepancies, or damages to the Corporate Parts Departments; facilitate parts transportation claims from insurance to closures and ensure proper disposition.
Qualifications and Other Requirements:
Education (Minimum):
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Associate's or Bachelor's in industrial engineering, supply chain management, logistics or related field, preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 3+ years to include:
Experience utilizing quality tools and techniques for process improvement is required.
Experience in quality control techniques and statistical analysis is required.
Transportation background in Maritime/Port Operations, Rail yard, or Truck yard is highly desired.
Automotive/OEM background is highly desired.
Training/Certification:
LEAN Processing/Manufacturing Training- CSSGB/BB desired.
This position will be required to successfully obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential.
(TWIC) from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). To obtain a TWIC, you must complete a thorough background investigation conducted by the TSA sponsored by Mazda.

Role and Team
Reporting to the Detail Shop Manager or designated supervisor, assure the quality of the Detail Shop process “First Time Right” is applied by Detailers. Communicate with the detail line staff concerning quality and production goals, expectations, and be the first point of contact per detail line. Perform all additional duties assigned by the Manager. Must know, practice, and ensure that company policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal laws are followed always.
Responsibilities
Inspect the quality of work done by each team member, identify vehicle quality that does not meet company standards. Communicate with team members in a positive and collaborative manner when quality does not meet standards.
Identify the strengths of detailers to effectively create their assignments within the detail process.
Ensure proper techniques and procedures are being implemented by team members. Train team members on standard operating procedures for vehicle detail.
Assist on the detail line and perform final detail tasks as needed
Maintain a professional appearance, orderly work environment and friendly disposition. Assist with shop cleaning and basic equipment maintenance
Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Report all incidents to management immediately.
Properly log the vehicle information into the computer upon satisfactory completion of inspection.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in required with a strong preference in quality, mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering area
2 to 5 years as a Quality Manager or over 5 years of hands-on experience as a Manufacturing Quality Engineer
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Comprehensive knowledge of implementing and maintaining QM systems and its auditing/assessment of internal and external dealing suppliers and customers
Knowledgeable in training techniques
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills

The Supplier Quality Analyst actively coordinates with the Supplier Quality Engineer, Quality Team, Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain team members to ensure compliance with all quality requirements.

Responsibilities:
Use QAD and work with the warehouse supervisor and team lead to determine stock locations and quantities of suspect material for segregation and other necessary activities.
Perform QAD transactions to move inventory into HOLD status until the product has been dispositioned and sorted.
Adjust QAD to reflect RTS, RTV, and scrap once HOLD has been removed.
Work with plants, warehouses, and logistics teams to process RMAs.
Physically move suspect material into the NCM cage until it has been disposed.
Ensure all products are properly marked and tagged before being moved into or released from the NCM area.
Work with the SQE to obtain disposition on sorted parts.
Coordinate with the warehouse supervisor and team lead to scrap or RTV any discrepant stock in accordance with DMI policies and procedures.
Physically move accepted product to areas where it can be restocked or reissued to the plants.
Keep the NCM area neat and clean using workplace organization best practices.
Update the supplier issues log.
Support the SQE in the improvement and maintenance of Supplier Scorecards.
Create monthly charts to track turnaround time from when material is entered in, dispositioned, sorted, and closed.
Participate in biweekly Hold Cage review meetings.
Coordinate and develop sort instructions and standards for internal or 3

Coordinate part performance testing with product line leads and Quality Engineers for part approvals.
Assist with internal containment, sorting, and receiving inspection activities as required.
Work with the Quality Team, Metrology, and Engineering to determine the best inspection methods.
Perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, or other devices as necessary.
Interface with the CMM Inspection Lab, Teardown Lab, and Sediment Lab as needed to resolve quality issues.
Ensure compliance with and support adherence to the Quality Management System (IATF 16949 / ISO 9001).
Required Skills/Abilities:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Spanish as a second language is a plus.
Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack to move material.
Education and Experience:
Experience as a Quality Inspector or Quality Technician in a manufacturing environment.
3-5 years of manufacturing experience desirable.
Ability to learn Access, Teams, OneNote, and QAD.
Familiarity with IATF 16949 or other quality systems is desirable.
