Responsibilities:
Perform and record inspections and tests of in process or final parts and processes using calipers, gauges, and other measuring and visual tools.
Actively participate in the company's Zero Defects program.
Validate CMM programs, troubleshooting, and analysis of rejects and failures.
Perform FAI Inspections in facility or in inspection department for manufactured components.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent required; Associates degree in related field is a plus.
1-3 years related manufacturing experience. GD&T experience a plus.

Job Description
As a Production Technician, the primary role involves producing lab consumables for Oligo manufacturing. Duties encompass using light tools, setting up equipment, and maintaining cleanliness as per standards. Tasks include weighing, mixing, handling small objects, operating heating devices, and using mechanical tools. Additionally, responsibilities include quality inspection, packaging, and updating process documentation with attention to detail and proactive improvement suggestions. This role requires both independent work and collaboration within a team.
Essential Functions:
Column Construction:
Concludes the construction of various column types to meet the requirements of internal and external customers as per established processes and methodologies.
PolyFrit Manufacturing:
Crafting PolyFrits to satisfy both internal and external customer requests following established processes and methodologies.
Conduct Quality Spot Checks:
Perform all quality assessments as per the procedural guidelines and collaborate with QC team members to identify and rectify any quality issues.
Safety:
Follow all safety guidelines as required by the manufacturing process and as mandated by LGC. Adherence to company Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) policy.
Follow work instructions and checklists for daily and weekly maintenance and cleaning tasks.
Offer Constructive Suggestions for Process Improvement: Provide insights on process and equipment improvements as they are identified through manufacturing.
Support Product Pre-Shipment Processes: Participate in product pick and pack processes to prepare customer orders for shipment.
Other Duties as Assigned: Responds with flexibility and collaboration to the needs of the business by addressing important corporate initiatives when requested by management.
Qualifications

Operate Industrial Powered Trucks (Forklifts)

As a technician, you will play a crucial role in the development and execution of an enhanced Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) System. **Responsibilities**

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the established standards of quality, reliability, and performance. This role involves inspecting, testing, and verifying that all products adhere to company specifications and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality in all aspects of the manufacturing process.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Conduct routine inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and quality issues. Prepare reports summarizing findings and recommend corrective actions.
Investigate quality issues and non-conformances. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards. Assist in internal and external quality audits.
Calibrate and maintain inspection and testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues and implement process improvements.
Provide training and support to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings, and completing assignments.
Ability to work and interact well with others.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Provides support with continuous improvement and/or vendor selection training.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Associate degree in quality management, quality assurance, manufacturing, or another related field is preferred.
Experience: Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, if degreed. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality, manufacturing and/or engineering role within a manufacturing environment, if non-degreed.
Required Skills
· Proficiency in using inspection and testing equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
· Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems (QMS).
· Understanding of quality standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
· Experience with root cause analysis and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
· Effective communication skills.
Preferred Skills
· Quality certifications such as Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or Six Sigma Green Belt.
· Previous experience in manufacturing environment.
· Experience in use of Oracle software.
SPECIAL DEMANDS
Manufacturing plant with exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and machinery.
Manual dexterity and visual acuity required for using gauges and measuring instruments.
Standing and walking for extended periods during inspections.
