A Brief Overview
Responsible for performing ultrasonic diagnostic procedures for patients as ordered according to established standards and practices.
What you will do
Performs ultrasonic diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians. Explains procedures to patients to assure cooperation and optimum test results.
Positions patients. Selects appropriate transducer, depending upon depth of field, organ to be identified, etc. Conducts scanning procedures using ultrasound equipment. Moves scanner over specified body areas, adjusts equipment to focus. Makes hard copy images as directed; documents tests.
Assists physician in such procedures as amniocentesis, etc.
Participates in the quality assessment and improvement plan, assuming responsibility for specific quality control duties.
Assists with staff/student on-the-job training and orientation.
Assists physicians and enters data into report system.
Monitors inventory of supplies, orders and expired items and notify appropriate individual when stock is low.

A Brief Overview

What you will do

A Brief Overview

What you will do

**Responsibilities**
* Provides, monitors and records therapy services to patients/residents with physical, cognitive, or developmental impairments
* Selects, implements, and modifies therapeutic activities and interventions consistent with demonstrated competency levels and goals
* Exchanges information with and provides documentation to the physical therapist about responses to and communications during intervention
* Follows and adheres to accepted clinical practice guidelines of professional organization
**Qualifications**
Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure. Must also be a graduate through an approved American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) program as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state(s) of practice. Conforms to the supervision and licensing standards of the state(s) where services are provided. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment. When applicable, may require valid driver's license.

A Brief Overview
Monitors patient activity by continuous utilizing the monitoring system in the area of practice. The Monitoring Technician is accountable for assisting with basic care needs of patients, attention to the monitors and maintaining the medical record. The Monitoring Technician collaborates with the Nursing Units by communicating with both the patient and staff as needed to ensure patient safety.

* Responsible to provide continuous monitoring of patients utilizing the monitoring platform in their area of practice.
* Always maintains observation of assigned patients, both visually and/or through use of the monitoring platform's alerts.
* May verbally redirect patients as needed, using the monitoring platform audio/visual system. Immediately alerts clinical staff or nursing staff if the patient requires assistance.
* Must be able to recognize and assess alerts and changes in patient and respond appropriately.
* Dependent on the Monitoring Platform, may provide patient with explanations as necessary through the monitoring system voice output.
* May assist nurses in providing patient care.
* Serves as a resource to unit staff for placement, equipment management and troubleshooting of monitoring platform.
* With accuracy and detail, records and charts clinical data such as temperature, pulse, respiration and similar patient information received from nursing and medical staff.
* Maintains accurate patient data, seeks clarification from appropriate source when in doubt.
* May transcribe physician's orders, complete all necessary forms, requisitions and computer entries to implement orders.

A Brief Overview
Delivers, setups, and trains patients, family, and medical staff on medical equipment products and services to meet the needs of patients and referral sources.
What you will do
* Develops and maintains working knowledge of current HME products and services offered.
* Provides education to patients, caregivers, and referral sources on HME equipment and supplies.
* Completes required documentation following equipment setup, delivery, or pickups in accordance with company policy and applicable governmental regulations.
* Performs detailed transactions including registering new customer, sales orders, transfers, cash sales, deposits, returns, notes, tasks, autopay, and work in progress.
* Develops knowledge of reimbursement guidelines, obtains appropriate signatures, and completely documents all information required or necessary to ensure reimbursement for all appropriate equipment, products and services.
* Conducts home visits to perform quality control checks on equipment and reviews with the customer proper use and safety factors.
* Completes routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment following manufacturer requirements and company policy.
* Cleans equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and requirements and in accordance with company infection control standards.

A Brief Overview
Responsible for flying helicopter missions requested by Avera. The pilot is directly responsible for all operations pertaining to the safe and efficient conduct of the flight from initial request until termination of the flight. Must have a good working knowledge of the company Operations Manual, Federal Aviation Regulations, Operations Specifications, Aircraft Flight Manual and any other requirements pertinent to specific flights. Must demonstrate interdisciplinary skills when working with team members. Must have effective critical thinking skills to problem solve and immediately respond to changing environments. May be required to work at all Avera Careflight bases/locations if the need arises.
What you will do
* Obtains weather briefing and prepares flight plan(s) considering such factors as altitude to be flown, terrain and/or obstacles, weather, fuel load and airport facilities.
* Ensures that all flight operations are conducted safely and in compliance with all FAR'S, Operations Specifications, and Avera's policies/procedures.
* Ensures that all Check List items are complied with according to the AFM.
* Consults with Leader of Operations in solving operational problems and procedures.
* Responsible and accountable for the ongoing operations of the flight program in compliance with established safety/quality standards, goals and objectives.
* Coordinates with the Leader of Maintenance the timely correction of mechanical irregularities and discrepancies and scheduled maintenance.
* Responds to flight requests within the guidelines of the flight program and assists crew with loading and unloading.
* Assists with monthly program meetings and training.
* Maintains a good working knowledge of the company Operations Manual, Federal Aviation Regulations, Operations Specifications, Aircraft Flight Manual, and any other requirements pertinent to specific flights and operations conducted by Careflight.
* All Careflight personnel are responsible for maintaining physical health and proper weight, not to exceed 240 pounds.

Responsibilities
* Performs invasive cardiac, peripheral vascular diagnostic, interventional and electrophysiology procedures using sophisticated imaging, hemodynamic monitoring and recording equipment to assess and treated cardiac and peripheral vascular disease.
* Possess a thorough understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, hemodynamic principles, X-ray techniques, and emergent and routine cardiac care.
* Possess knowledge of pharmacologic options for treatment and the impact it can have on exercise performance, hemodynamic and diagnostic tests.
* Utilize different equipment, programs, and computers, including Cardiac, Vascular and EP experience XPER/CUPID/ GE, Siemens and Phillips XR system.

Qualifications
Associate's degree in cardiovascular technology or equivalent experience is required.
Possesses expert knowledge in cardiovascular technology, including pharmacology and advanced cardiac rhythm management. Possesses a thorough understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, hemodynamic principles, X-ray techniques, and emergent and routine cardiac care.
Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) within 12 months of hire is preferred. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) if applicable to position is preferred.
