The Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine (PVM), Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences (VCS), invites applications for a full-time (100%, 12 month) Open rank position in Small Animal Dentistry. The successful candidate will be eligible for an endowed professorship and will join an established primary care service team with three clinicians (two ABVP board-certified). The service currently performs routine dentistry procedures with an average case load of 300 per year and has three veterinary nurses, two of whom are VTS-certified (AVTCP - canine/feline). The School of Business at the University of Indianapolis seeks a tenure-track faculty member to support student engagement, curricular integration, and applied business education. This position emphasizes business foundations, innovation, and the effective use of digital and AI tools across the student lifecycle. The successful candidate will play a visible role in connecting students to UIndy, teaching business core applied courses, and contributing to experiential and design-based learning initiatives. The role prioritizes student-centered pedagogy, interdisciplinary collaboration, and real-world application over narrow disciplinary specialization. REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Required * Doctoral degree in a business, technology, analytics, or innovation-related field. Exceptional candidates with substantial professional experience in business innovation, digital transformation, or applied analytics may be considered for the Assistant Professor of Practice track. * Demonstrated excellence in teaching and student engagement at any level, including K-12 or corporate * Strong communication and collaboration skills * Experience integrating and/or applying digital or AI tools into business education or organizational practice Preferred * PhD or DBA is preferred * Experience teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level, but experience in K-12 is welcome * Professional or industry experience in business, management, or related fields * Experience with experiential, project-based, or design-focused teaching ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Teaching Responsibilities The successful candidate will carry a standard full-time teaching load of 24 credits per academic year aligned with School of Business needs and expertise. Teaching responsibilities may include: * Introduction to Business & Society (first-year experience) * Digital Foundations and AI Fluency for business students * IGNITE courses, a scaffolded project-based learning sequence required for all business students beginning Fall 2026, which develops business fundamentals, digital and AI fluency, ethical judgment, and professional identity through human-centered design experiences across the curriculum * Senior Capstone and/or applied graduate courses, as appropriate Instruction may be delivered in face-to-face, hybrid, or online modalities. Student Engagement and Mentorship A central component of this role is building meaningful connections with students across the curriculum. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in dance, musical theatre, or related discipline or equivalent professional experience completed by date of appointment. One year of teaching experience at the university/college level. Experience teaching musical theatre dance, jazz, tap, and commercial dance. The ability to serve as a recruiter and advocate on a National level for the BFA Dance and Musical Theatre programs. Preferred Qualifications M.F.A in Dance, Choreography, or Musical Theatre completed by date of appointment. Three years of teaching experience at the university/college level. Substantial experience as an choreographer, performer, or director on Broadway, with established dance companies, or in major Regional dance and theatre venues.
