Assist Technologist with patient flow, supplies and records. Flexible hours to meet program demands including 3 AM departures from EMS garage, working Saturday and Sunday programs when indicated. Inform lead driver when maintenance, service and report repair is due on mobile coaches Take inventory of coaches interior and exterior for needed repairs Communicate with manufacturers and vendors that service mobiles when repairs are needed; communicate such to Manager and Director. Position Summary: Responsible for moving raw donations and salvage to and from stores to designated locations, to facilitate COVID-19 Phase 1 and Phase 2 Procedures. Responsible for all safe product movement from location to location. Primary Duties: Operate company vehicles in a safe and courteous manner. Must have a valid Mississippi State Driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clean DMV driving record. Must have Class D license. Maintain required maintenance records. Report any unsafe vehicle conditions to supervisor. Understand and adhere to specified load limits. Direct activity of truck helper (if assigned). Report accidents immediately. Communicate to supervisors and donors in a professional and respectful manner. Some evenings, and/or weekends required. . Use flat carts, pallet jacks and other equipment in a proper manner so as to avoid damaging merchandise during pick up or drop off. Adhere to safety policies regarding handling of equipment and storage of merchandise within specified areas, ensuring sanitizing, disinfecting and quarantine of community donations. Responsible for all other duties as assigned by Supervisor or VP of Operations. Other Duties and Responsibilities: supervisory responsibility: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities, except for of truck helper (if assigned). Certification(s): Class D license If required, current Forklift Certification at specific locations utilizing forklifts. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers. Ability to execute assignments safely and correctly. Ability to maintain cordial working relationships with others. Additional Requirements: Supports the mission and vision of Goodwill Industries of Mississippi, Inc. Open availability. Ability to transfer to other working locations, as directed by management. Maintains a valid driver license and acceptable MVR. Promotes and demonstrates ethical practices in all activities. Promotes a safe work environment and follows all CARF requirements. Ability to pass alcohol/drug screenings, criminal background check and any insurance driving record check. Physical Requirements: Works in an environment with occasional high stress, with potentially short deadlines. Stands and walks for most of the workday occasionally sits. Routinely bends, stoops, pulls, pushes, reaches, kneels, twists, turns throughout the day. Occasionally exerting up to 100 pounds of force and/or regularly lift up to 50 pounds safely. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential duties include the following but not considered an inclusive list. Completes all necessary paperwork as required by AAA Program to document transportation and meal services provided. Drives Hot Shot Truck daily and is responsible for delivering 100-plus meals to home-bound clients in specified county. Required to undergo periodic driving test and demonstrate proficiency in the operation of a motor vehicle. Assists at Central Kitchen and is responsible for loading truck with correct number of meals. Responsible for ensuring Hot Shot Truck kept clean and sanitary. Works with Home Delivered Meal Coordinator on daily route changes to ensure no missed clients. Maintains weekly and monthly reports on daily mileage/truck maintenance and provides to Site Coordinator. Responsible for routine maintenance of vehicles and reports all vehicle problems to Site Coordinator in timely manner. Keeps HDM Coordinator and/or Site Coordinator informed of any client not at home to ensure follow-up emergency services can be provided as needed. Works closely with HDM Coordinator to monitor any problems that may arise in client's home and reports incidents immediately to HDM Coordinator. Performs janitorial duties as needed, including but not limited to mopping, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting. Responsible for rotating frozen meal inventory on a daily basis. Responsible for ensuring that all 5 and 7 count frozen meals are made as needed. Responsible for ensuring that the desserts and breads for frozen meals are well stocked. This would include communicating with the lead cook when the supply is getting low so the cook can ensure there is enough on hand to keep the freezer full. This is a safety-sensitive position. Maintains confidentiality of all information received regarding Friendship Community Care, Inc., Senior Center programs, and clients. Conditions of confidentiality shall be in compliance with Friendship Community Care Non-Disclosure Policy and HIPAA Policies.
