Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field.

Boeing Global Services (BGS) has an exciting opportunity for talented and highly motivated engineers to join The Air Force Fighter & Strike Sustainment Engineering team in Hazelwood, MO as a Sustainment Engineer supporting the F-15IA and EX platforms. These unique positions will support the F-15 EX program as the fleet continues to rapidly grow and expand to new operating locations and will also be responsible for supporting the F-15IA new build effort as it progresses through design, production, and fielding, ensuring that sustainment concepts and interests are appropriately represented. It will require technical interface with BDS engineering counterparts, Program Management, Suppliers, and the customer.

Position Responsibilities:
Represent BGS engineering and Product Support element interests in meetings and design discussions to ensure BGS impacts are captured during F-15IA development
Provide technical support to the F-15EX in-service aircraft in troubleshooting aircraft issues, developing repairs, coordinating with suppliers and integrating across multiple functions
Research, Author, and Coordinate Advisory Memos, Change Documents (CD), and Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) in support of fleet issue corrections, repairs, and product improvement redesigns
Perform timely root cause corrective action (RCCA) for engineering issues to improve fleet availability and first time quality of future part purchases
Provide technical input to work products including SOW and proposal development, change incorporation, and obsolescence
Ensure the technical correctness of solutions being offered and implemented
Support obsolescence issues and represent F-15 sustainment interests in planning
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
2+ years of experience in an engineering role
Experience assembling and leading cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.) (Level 3)
3+ years' experience supporting military aircraft

About the Role
As an early member of the Antares supply chain team, you will own components and sub-assemblies across a variety of commodities to successfully iterate through prototyping and into full-rate production. This will include identifying, qualifying, and developing suppliers, proactively maturing fragile or nonexistent supply chains, interfacing with responsible engineers to ensure design for manufacturability, and creating the processes and systems necessary to scale our business.
The ideal candidate will be able to execute in an ambiguous environment, with the ability to efficiently balance many different priorities - you will be part of a small team tackling significant and complicated challenges, and will have a key role in contributing to the success of the company both in the short and long term.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Own the supply chain strategy for multiple components and sub-assemblies across a variety of commodities such as machined components, electronics and controls, shielding, thermal management, pressure vessels, fuel, and others
Identify and onboard suppliers across various commodities to develop a mature supply base capable of supporting both prototyping and eventually full-rate production
Engage with responsible engineers to review drawings and provide feedback in collaboration with suppliers on design for manufacturing
Coordinate closely with quality teams to ensure compliance with the Antares quality program regarding supplier onboarding, quality and documentation requirements, addressing nonconformances, and developing supply chain related procedures

This position will be based onsite in Springfield, TN.
Schedule Monday to Friday, start at 12pm, overlapping 1st and 2nd shift.
All about the role:
The Manufacturing System Engineer will support the digital transformation initiatives within the manufacturing operations. This role involves executing tests and implementing system changes, including MES and ERP systems, providing coaching and guidance to end-users, and preparing reports using Power BI. The individual will work closely with the Digital Manufacturing Lead and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of digital solutions.
What you'll do:
Execute tests and implement changes in manufacturing systems, including MES and ERP.
Provide coaching and guidance to end-users on the effective use of digital tools and systems.
Prepare and maintain reports using Power BI to support data-driven decision-making
Assist in the integration of automation systems with IT platforms to streamline operations.
Identify and resolve issues related to digital tools and systems to minimize disruptions.
Work collaboratively with local, regional, and group teams to align on strategies and implement standardized solutions.
Develop and deliver training programs to enhance user proficiency with digital tools.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of system changes, user guides, and training materials.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of digital solutions and processes within the manufacturing operations.
Collaborate with regional Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to support specific digital solutions and ensure best practices are disseminated throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience with MES and ERP systems, with a focus on implementation and support.
Proficiency in using Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
Basic understanding of automation technology and digital manufacturing systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
