Responsibilities The RN maintains data and analyzes records or infection incidents and determines nursing home precautions to prevent cross-contamination. The RN works with other departments to promote and monitor infection control practices. Qualifications Current state licensure as a RN, in good standing. Has sufficient infection control knowledge base to carry out responsibilities. Membership in APIC or equivalent preferred. Infection Preventionist certification preferred.
