Acts as a liaison with medical center departments and external providers and agencies by directing calls and messages to appropriate parties.
**Required Qualifications:**
High School diploma or GED required.
License Mass Registered Pharmacy Tech required.
3-5 years related work experience required.
Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
PTCB certification.

The Medication Reconciliation Technician plays an integral role in helping to prevent patient medication errors caused by inaccurate or incomplete information in the medical record. **Principal Duties and Responsibilities**
1. Refills Pyxis Medstations with unit dosages from medication profiles and delivers meds to patient units or Pyxis Medstations.
2. Ensures all medications, admixtures, or other dispensed products from the pharmacy are properly labeled and checked before delivery.
