Food Service - Dietary Aide / Food Service Aide Eagle Crest Communities is seeking a Food Service Aide to join our top-notch team at our Riverside Transitional Care facility. Our team services meals to 150+ residents plus staff at Riverside Transitional Care, The Willows, and Hearten Houses. What You'll Do Provide a high-quality dining experience for residents by serving attractive and nutritious meals, according to resident's dietary requirements and preferences Support mealtimes as meaningful social events by creating a welcoming, respectful, and engaging dining atmosphere Duties include hostess and dietary aide duties, dish room duties, cleaning duties, preparing resident's meal trays, restocking and other kitchen responsibilities. Assist with preparing and delivering snacks and drinks to residents What You'll Need Ability to multitask is a must Comfortability working in a fast-paced environment Experience working with seniors or in a long-term care community, preferred Drivers require a valid driver license and must have and maintain a safe driving record Our Wages Part Time Servers starting between $15.50 and $18.50 per hour, more based on qualifications, experience, and hours worked Train to fill Assistant Cook shifts for more pay!     The Dietary Aide performs a variety of patient food service and dish duties as well as other related tasks that includes: Prepares food trays for general and therapeutic diets. Prepares and delivers items as requested by patients or departments. Assists in preparing and plating salads, desserts and nourishments. Maintains tray line in a clean, neat, and organized manner. Prepares special diet foods as necessary Delivers food carts to patient care units. Returns cars to kitchen at designated times. Prepares tables for catering events according to requests. Works hospital cafeteria food line and restocks condiments and food as needed. Loads and washes dishes in dishwasher or pot sink. Puts clean dishes and utensils away. Disposes of trash and garbage in appropriate manner.
