Responsibilities

Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels
Perform preventive maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) service according to the manufacturer's specifications and guidelines
Repair and replace tires
Replacement of wearable parts (i.e. bulbs, wipers)
Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair
Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures
Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of all services

Optimus Technologies is currently seeking a Field Diesel Technician to provide first-class service to our customer's Vector System equipped vehicles. This is a customer-facing role and will primarily require company paid travel to the customer's location to provide service. Services provided by Field Diesel Technicians include, but are not limited to, installation, service, and support of the Vector System and SMARTFuel. Comprehensive training on these systems will be provided as part of the on-boarding process.

Responsibilities
Become an expert on the Vector System electronics, software, hardware, and mechanical components.
Complete system installations: this will include OEM component dislocation and relocation (interior, exterior, and engine compartment) to install the Vector System within the vehicle.
Read, interpret, and utilize appropriate technical drawing, schematics, electrical diagrams and manuals to complete system installations, troubleshooting, and repairs
Perform appropriate system testing upon project completion
Confidence in interacting with customers and ability to answer/direct questions
Maintain steady communication with customers to keep informed of work progress
provide troubleshooting and technical support via telephone, email, or in-person
Ensure customers' needs are satisfied in an effective and reliable manner

What You'll Do:
Pressure wash houses, driveways, decks, apartment complexes, and big commercial buildings.
Use professional-grade equipment-pressure washers, soft wash systems, surface cleaners (we'll train you if needed).
Work a mix of day and night shifts, depending on the job (especially big commercial jobs this summer).
Keep your gear and truck clean, and document your work using our simple system.
Talk with customers when needed-be respectful, be yourself.
What You Can Expect:
Weekly pay: $1,000-$1,500 depending on experience and hustle
Bonus opportunities + chance to move into lead or manager roles
A variety of work: residential, night work, and large commercial jobs-no boring days
All equipment, gear, and uniforms provided-no junk, no cutting corners

What You Need:
Valid driver's license and a clean-ish record

Not afraid of ladders, heights, or getting dirty

Responsibilities:
Perform full inspections and repairs on used vehicles including, transmission, engine, electronic diagnosis, wheel and tire.
Inspect belts and filters and check air levels and gauges
Write up service reports
Communicate with the service manager to obtain needed parts for service repairs
Road test vehicles when required to quality check work performed
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications:
Previous experience at an automotive dealership.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent customer service skills.
Basic computer competencies.
Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality.
Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively.
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
Valid driver's license with a clear driving record.
Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen requirements.
