Manage administrative aspects and timely reporting for all territory management areas, including Expense Management (travel and samples), paperwork, forecasts, gap plans, upside opportunities, and other requests from leadership.
Keep distributors motivated and informed about products and promotions, with particular attention to seeding and establishing NPD with distributors and end users.
Provide market intelligence to Product Management teams for their use in product walks and development.
This position involves approximately 50% overnight travel within territory and occasional travel within United States in support of Trade Shows and National Meetings.

The Job:
As a Metalworking Sales Specialist, you'll be part of our Industrial Sales team working as a remote/field employee. You'll get to:
* Achieve revenue targets by managing, growing, and developing a sales territory with welding distribution customers designated to support and represent the total breadth of Stanley Black & Decker industrial solution brands: DeWalt, Stanley, Lenox, Proto, Irwin.
* Support aligned Industrial Sales Region as a Met / Fab subject matter expert. Assist with large Met / Fab opportunities and direct IAM selling efforts in your assigned accounts.
* Demonstrate the value of Stanley Black & Decker's total product portfolio and services by identifying target opportunities, running product trials, and providing the customer with a cost savings analysis report to show the difference between cost and price.
* Identify both regional and national opportunities to cultivate relationships with trade schools, technical colleges, and industry associations.
* Execute playbook and integrated trade school strategy to foster long-term advocacy for DEWALT among future skilled trades professionals. Build relationships within all levels of the local training centers, networks, and end users that drives local activation and communicate best practices of the local trade association partnership.
* Foster trade school partnerships and programs focused on metal fabrication and welding and look for opportunities to participate and/or integrate training resources that align with industry standards and DEWALT product offerings including Perform | Protect.
* Maintain and use SalesForce.com as a CRM and Planning tool. Communicate successes and failures in a timely fashion to develop a more streamlined process and future success with key accounts and opportunities.
* Manage administrative aspects and timely reporting for all territory management areas, including Expense Management (travel and samples), paperwork, forecasts, gap plans, upside opportunities, and other requests from leadership.
* Keep distributors motivated and informed about products and promotions, with particular attention to seeding and establishing NPD with distributors and end users.
* Provide market intelligence to Product Management teams for their use in product walks and development.
* This position involves approximately 50% overnight travel within territory and occasional travel within United States in support of Trade Shows and National Meetings.
