We are looking for motivated Journeyman/Journeywoman Carpenters to help with a variety of remodeling, restoration and new home construction projects. The Ideal candidate would be someone looking for a Journeyman/Journeywoman Carpenter level position in the construction industry with a desire to learn and grow within an expanding organization. While Journeyman Carpenters work under the supervision of a Crew Lead or Foreman, they are expected to independently resolve complex construction-related challenges involving all aspects of carpentry.
General Responsibilities:
Cull and organize materials for crew to handle on job sites.
Operate tools and machinery safely and effectively for carpentry tasks.
Assist in the coordination of carpentry work with that of Crew Lead/Foreman.
Maintain clean and organized job sites to ensure safety and efficiency.
Help with heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed on job sites.
Be able to perform ALL duties of carpenter or finish carpenter, following recognize procedures/techniques for such work, as required to build any residential construction building.
Act as Crew Lead/Foreman in his/her absence.
Requirements:
At least four years in construction related labor in residential construction, with at least two of those years in finish carpentry.
Knowledge of and ability to operate all carpenter tools and equipment.
Ability to lay out construction, remodeling and alteration work.
Ability to read blueprints.
Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform duties and responsibilities of this job, including heavy work with exposure to inclement weather conditions for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to lift, load, and unload heavy construction materials frequently.
Must be able to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment, as necessary.
This position will require a significant amount of driving so any candidate must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.
Journeyman/Journeywomen are required to own at least a basic set of carpentry tools including: a case of drill bits, tin snips, combination square, flat bar (pry bar), trim pry bar set, stud finder, coping saw, line level, construction calculator, sliding bevel gauge, wire tie twister (whirly bird).
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. (40 hour week)

ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Afterschool Counselor II, you will play a crucial role in the supervision of participants in our Horizons after-school program, for middle-school-age participants. Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age or older.

Job Description
The Career Navigator II acts as Direct Care Support for individuals that have an intellectual or developmental disability (I/DD) within Goodwill's Community Integration program. The Community Integration is designed to help participants optimize their personal, social, and vocational competency to live successfully in the community.
In this role, the Career Navigator II or Direct Care Support assists individuals to participate in a variety of community life experiences and/or interactions that may include, but are not limited to:
Art, music, exercise classes
Community outings, leisure or recreational activities.
Cultural activities.
Pre-vocational experiences.
Educational and training activities.
Development of living skills.
Health and wellness promotion.
The Career Navigator II should be comfortable with assisting vulnerable adults with activities of daily living, driving participants to outings in the community on a regular basis and working as a part of a team. Knowledge of and experience performing de-escalation techniques and working with individuals with a disability are preferred.

Works with individuals who are currently engaged in habilitation services.

Education
