Job Title: Collector
Blitt & Gaines, P.C. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collector to join our dynamic Collections team. In this role, you will represent our firm and its clients by managing and recovering past-due accounts while maintaining a professional, respectful, and customer-centric approach. You'll engage directly with consumers and authorized third parties, negotiate payment solutions, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Essential Duties:
Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced collections environment
Maintain and update assigned accounts within the collections system daily
Monitor and respond to client voicemail boxes, documenting and resolving messages promptly
Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements in accordance with company and client guidelines
Accurately update customer account information and notes
Verify and confirm customer account details and banking information
Process secure payments and update payment methods as needed
Investigate and resolve discrepancies on accounts
Communicate professionally with consumers, attorneys, and third-party representatives
Ensure adherence to all applicable federal and state laws (e.g., FDCPA) and client/firm compliance policies
Assist the team with projects and other departmental tasks assigned
Performance Expectations:
Performance is measured monthly through scorecards evaluating:
Productivity metrics
Compliance with regulatory and internal standards
Attendance and punctuality
Performance is benchmarked against peers with rankings provided.
Education/Experience:
Previous collections experience required
High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
Experience in collections, customer service, sales, call centers, or QA is a plus
Familiarity with collections software and systems (e.g., CLS, Microsoft Office Suite)
Solid understanding of federal and state debt collection laws, including FDCPA

This position will be responsible for the administration and management of the electronic billing processes for all domestic clients and e-vendors. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem solving skills. The Senior E-Billing Coordinator will report to the E-Billing Supervisor. This is a hybrid position required to work in-office three days per week.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Responsible for the administration of all electronic billing clients and vendors; inclusive of documentation, training, analysis, reporting, and security.
+ Partner with Billing Team and Finance Department to analyze, identify, recommend, and implement enhancements, management reports, and troubleshooting electronic billing issues.
+ Maintain profile for each electronic billing vendor being utilized; inclusive of policies and contact information. Communicate all e-billing guidelines, and updates to key members of the Finance Team.
+ Meet with billing attorney(s) or secretaries to discuss electronic billing processes.
+ Generate and distribute e-billing reports on a weekly basis.
+ Offer constructive solutions to reduce or eliminate electronic billing inefficiencies.
+ Work within the E-billing Hub and help troubleshoot/resolve electronic billing problems.
+ Update and manage client websites
+ Work with Billing Coordinators and timekeepers in order to ensure compliance with all Electronic Billing Guidelines.
+ Work with Collections Team to solidify proactive follow-up on aged invoices submitted electronically.
+ Address all rejected invoices within two business days, once transferred from the billing coordinator.
+ These duties may be ongoing or ad hoc in nature.
+ Other duties as may be assigned to fully meet the requirements of the position.
**Experience & Qualifications:**
+ 5+ years e-billing experience (e.g. Serengeti, Collaborati, Legal Precision, eBillingHub)
+ Law firm experience preferred.
+ Expertise with Elite Enterprise or 3E and ME-Billing applications.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Self-starter that delivers superior customer service
+ Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Flexibility to work overtime, as needed
Pursuant with states' laws, the salary range for this position is $80,000 - $98,000 based on experience.

Specific Duties
Primary duties and responsibilities of INTERNATIONAL Collection Specialist:
• Collection of delinquent International accounts with complex Bill To/Ship To relationships primarily focused within the Middle East
• Responsible for developing professional relationships both internal and external including direct collaboration with Region Leaders,
• Analyze payment trends to provide the appropriate customer credit limits
• Obtain a solid understanding of portfolio to effectively communicate outstanding disputes, challenges and open issues with direct managers, IRL's and upper management.
• Responsible for the overall management of customer credit holds, credit limits, credit checks, disputed items and timely submissions of credit/debit adjustments, write-off adjustments and PO sensitive customers to ensure accurate customer receivable balances and resolution.
• Responsible for the coordination and completion of customer special handling requests. (i.e. custom invoices, payment plan agreements, customer portals…)
• Responsible for account reconciliations and account analysis to resolve customer disputes in a timely fashion.
• Adhere to the collection strategies within Oracle including maintaining accurate, factual commentary of customer collection history.
• Determine ways to improve DBO within the International portfolio.
• Understands and demonstrates Core Values.
• Collaborate with CSF Staff, Collection Supervisor, CFS Sr. Manager on ongoing enhancements to CFS collection processes and procedures as it relates to the International Portfolio.
