Job Description
We are looking for a Blood Mobile CDL Driver for our Nashville, TN Mobile. This role requires driving a variety of company vehicles including box trucks, buses and others in the Nashville Area for blood drives. A good driving record and the ability to lift and carry 50lbs are required. Our drivers must also be willing to assist co-workers in other departments as needed. Must be 21 or older.
This position is full-time and will have a variety of shifts that may require evening and/or weekend hours. Some overtime may be required.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monday-Friday with start time between 12am-4am
Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck.
Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route. Abide by Medline's safety regulations, including wearing safety equipment where needed, performing safety checks, etc.
Unload and deliver product at our customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
Provide in-person support to the customer - addressing their questions and needs and providing appropriate documentation upon delivery.
Communicate with dispatching team regarding necessary adjustments to delivery route or schedule in order to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
Maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
Perform inspection of vehicle to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels for continued vehicle use.
Relevant Work Experience
Minimum 2+ years tractor trailer driving experience
Additional
Class A CDL; Licensed to operate assigned vehicle.
Ability to meet Federal and State requirements for operation of commercial motor vehicles.

PRN- 1 shift a week & 2 Saturdays per Month
Responsible for driving mobile coaches to schedule programs; greet patients with AIDET and accurately register them into designated registration module. Assist Technologist with patient flow, supplies and records. Flexible hours to meet program demands including 3 AM departures from EMS garage, working Saturday and Sunday programs when indicated.
Inform lead driver when maintenance, service and report repair is due on mobile coaches
Take inventory of coaches interior and exterior for needed repairs
Communicate with manufacturers and vendors that service mobiles when repairs are needed; communicate such to Manager and Director.
Maintain all required logs and records to include service logs
Responsibility to communicate to other drivers all changes in policies and work flow
Responsible for daily restocking of mobile units
Ensure minimal errors are made during patient registration
Assist with productivity, find work during downtime

You would go out on a route 2-3 times a week, with 2 overnights in a week. You would do this for 2 weeks, and then be completely local for the next 2 weeks, at the same rate, in the warehouse assisting with pulling and picking orders. It would alternate indefinitely.

· Upon completion of a call, is responsible for placing the vehicle back into service.
· Is responsible for radio/phone communication from the field (vehicle) to the Communications Center.
· Responsible for assisting with departmental orientation new employees.
· Respects and holds in confidence all information of a confidential nature obtained in the course of professional work unless required by company policies/procedures to divulge such information.
· Adheres to standards of personal ethics which reflect credit upon the position.
· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

We are looking for a Blood Mob ile CDL Driver for our Nashville , TN Mobile. This role requires driving a variety of company vehicles including box trucks, buses and others in the Nashville Area for blood drives. A good driving record and the ability to lift and carry 50lbs are required. Our drivers must also be willing to assist co-workers in other departments as needed. Must be 21 or older.
This position is full-time and will have a variety of shifts that may require evening and/or weekend hours. Some overtime may be required.
