A newly hired Therapist/Behavioral Health Service Provider can receive a sign on bonus of up to $5,000.00, depending on the service agreement chosen. Service contracts are for 1, 2, or 3 years. Responsibilities include: Providing evidence based psychotherapy interventions Providing clinical assessment and treatment planning Crisis support as needed within parameters of an outpatient clinic Completion of administrative tasks such as documentation and case management Participation in team meetings What We're Looking For: Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Required (fully or provisionally licensed or license eligible) 2 years clinical work experience preferred Ability to perform comprehensive clinical assessments and develop and implement viable treatment plans Experience in individual and group therapy including recovery work Excellent listening and communication skills Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred Bilingual a plus About Blue Ridge Health: At Blue Ridge Health our mission is to improve Health, inspire Hope, and advance Healing through access to Compassionate, Affordable, and Quality Care. Position Summary The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselor utilizes their expertise to support and counsel individuals through crisis intervention, brief solutions-focused counseling, referrals to treatment or other outside community resources, and ongoing follow-up for ECU Health team members and their eligible family members. The EAP counselor provides orientations and well-being workshops to team members and their eligible family members. The counselor provides therapy and assessments via face-to-face and/or video conferencing. The EAP counselor will provide management and leadership consultation and coaching, and other EAP organizational interventions. The counselor is a trusted and compassionate resource for ECU Health leadership and team members throughout the organization. Responsibilities Evaluates behavioral health treatment needs of employee or family members who come to the EAP. Provides crisis intervention and brief outcome based counseling on a wide range of concerns including emotional, psychological, marital, family, substance abuse, stress, legal, financial and other problems. Knows and maintains good relationships with area behavioral health and wellness resources. Develops and delivers training programs on behavioral wellness, EAP and Substance Abuse. Serves as facilitator for group dynamics discussions on areas such as team building and workplace cultural assessments. Provides psycho-educational programs for hospital staff as part of prevention activities. This can be helping participants through cognitive behavior challenges and/or liaising with other agencies and organizations outside of the program. The Counselor facilitates periodic group counseling including Mentor Circles. Schedule Flexible, 40 hour per week. Pay $26.00+ per hour, based on credentials. Job Responsibilities of a Recovery Court Counselor * Provide assessment of mental health and substance use for adolescent and adult justice involved participants. Refer for treatment when assessment indicates. * Work closely with community partners to provide a seamless network of support services to individuals * Provide individual therapy, group, and/or case management services and support services to help individuals navigate the challenges of reentry * Monitor and track progress of individuals in the program and adjust services/supports as needed to ensure success. * Identify elements of client crisis, responding to each client needs to ensure their safety. * Prepares or completes various forms, reports, correspondence, encounter forms, case documentation, agency referrals, treatment plans and other documents. * For each client assigned, provides an orientation that outlines the services they will be receiving, explains and schedules services and clarifies the following: confidentiality, client rights, consents for services, and financial requirements. * Meets with supervisor(s) as needed/agreed upon for regularly occurring clinical and administrative supervision. * For each client assigned, identifies appropriate referral resources, coordinates services with referral resources, and assists client with utilizing referral resources. * Contacts all clients assigned who do not show for appointments- documents in EHR (communication log/service note). Qualifications of a Recovery Court Counselor Education and Experience * Minimum Master's degree in a Human Services field * Meets the requirements specified for a QP status Licensure/Certifications * Currently licensed to practice clinically (e.g., LCAS/A, LMFT/A, LCMHC/A, LCSW/A) * Currently licensed in Substance Use treatment preferred * If provisionally licensed at date of hire, must become fully licensed within 2 years of hire.
