Our therapists have over 20 plus years of experience and training in pelvic and orthopedic rehabilitation, having worked in multiple locations throughout NYC and other countries.
Role Description
We currently have an opening for a skilled pelvic floor rehabilitation physical therapist to join our team part time or full time. As a Physical Therapist at Body Harmony Physical Therapy, PLLC, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based care to patients with various conditions, focusing on pelvic rehabilitation and general orthopedics. This role involves conducting patient assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, coordinating with other healthcare professionals, and maintaining patient records.
We are looking for a professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, works independently and proactively with ease. You will have the opportunity to work and train with our physical therapists in 1 on 1 sessions and through in-services. All therapy sessions are approximately 50 to 60 minutes in duration, with a maximum of 7 patients a day (for an 8 hour work day) with 1 hour paid personal break per day.
Body Harmony Physical Therapy, PLLC is a participating provider with the Rehabilitation Network with 2 Hospitals in New York: Mt. Sinai and HSS.
We use WebPT as our EMR with added AI to assist in and decrease documentation time.
We offer flexible schedules for therapists, including a 4 day work week.
Qualifications
Experience in internal pelvic assessment and treatment (elective, active practice)
Strong Manual orthopedic skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
A current New York State Physical Therapy license
Continuing education in pelvic rehabilitation and/or general orthopedics is a plus

*What you will do:*

* Provide accurate and timely documentation with online EMR

* Conduct patient and family education.
*Minimum Requirements:*
* Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science or Master's degree
* Current NYS OT license and registration
* Flexibility and exceptional clinical reasoning skills are essential as well as an ability to work well under pressure with frequent interruptions and deadlines.
* Must have time management, communication, and superb customer service skills
