SUMMARY OF PROJECTMANAGER DESIGN-BUILD RESPONSIBILITIES

* Alternative delivery experience desired, including Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, CMGC, or Integrated Design and Construction (IDAC)
* Experience working with and/or managing designers and the design process a plus.
* Bridge construction experience is preferred.
* Experience with various types of heavy civil or foundation work including, but not limited to, mass concrete, post-tensioning, dams, drilling, soil nails, caissons, tie backs, shotcrete, slurry walls is preferred.

The Role:
The Project Executive provides overall leadership and direction on the construction project. Typically, the Project Executive is responsible for negotiating the Owner contract, is the main contact for the ProjectManager for issues concerning budget, billing and client satisfaction, and ensures the fiscal success of the project.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership in business judgment and all financial and profitability aspects of projects under your jurisdiction Participate extensively in and the work acquisition process, working to define and develop project budgets and schedules that will achieve profitability objectives taking into account project-specific challenges

Summary/Objective:

The Project Lead is the “voice of the customer” in our Oldcastle Infrastructure (OI) facilities. The Project Lead is responsible for the customer experience from the point of sale to on-site delivery. Responsible for managing multiple sales orders concurrently
Upon sales order assignment by the C.O.M, share responsibility with the O.S.R and Est. to hold a Turnover/Kick Off meeting at the point of sale to ensure all needed information and paperwork are complete; that the scope of work is clear; review the estimate and confirm values for all items; and begins the process of scheduling the project with production to align with “Customer Ship Date” in AX
From point of sales order assignment, the P.L. becomes the point of contact for the customer. They must ensure the customer is kept up-to-date from production schedule to on-site delivery
Provide direction and oversight to all aspects of the project team; engineering, production planning, transportation, procurement and accounting
Prepare any applicable change order proposals in a timely manner, whether owner/ client/ engineer request or by generation from OI
Monitors the progress and status from the point of sales as it moves through the process, and acts to problem solve proactively, offers technical advice, and assists other staff to expedite assigned projects, removes obstacles which may cause a project to fall behind schedule
Ensures a mentality of continuous improvement of processes and systems
If needed, coordinate site visits and work with the customer to ensure that all issues that arise from the point of sale to completion of the project are resolved promptly, including but not limited to change orders, adjustments to schedule and collect information as appropriate to each assigned project. Identify and requisition special purchase items as required
Managing the required submittals/approvals with customer as required
Communicate with the Transportation department on the initial delivery needs of the customer and follow up when required

About the Job
The ProjectManager will be based in the state of Washington. This position serves as the overall Project Leader for the jobs in which they are involved. Responsibilities range from project set up, project buy out, contract execution and compliance, material and equipment procurement, daily progress tracking, Project safety compliance, material and equipment invoice approval, manpower timesheet approval, responsible for project sequencing and scheduling, maintaining and updating schedules, coordination and communication with GC, extra work and change order distribution/tracking, coordination with Operation managers to secure adequate manpower, weekly cost report job forecasting, overall project fiscal responsibility.
Specific Role Responsibilities:

Requirements
5+ years of experience
Bachelor's degree in Construction management or Engineer recommended.
Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices required
Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals
Project set up, budget planning, buy out, and cost reporting experience is a must
Good understanding of critical path scheduling.
Experience leading successful project team, including development of employee and maintaining relationships with external entities
Energetic and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on own as well as in a team environment.
Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffolding.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
6-10 years of experience in the managing MEP projects/scope.
Strong communication and interpersonal skill to manage multiple trades and personalities.
Working knowledge of architectural, structural, civil documents to understand how the mechanical/electrical systems are integrated into the building.
Good understanding of Specifications Divisions and navigation within for coordinating responsibilities, various testing and documentation requirements of the project.
Understanding of Codes for Building, Plumbing, NFPA (fire, electrical, etc.), Mechanical, and Life Safety systems.
Strong working knowledge with computers, laptops, iPad type instruments, Microsoft Office Suite, various construction industry applications.

Job Summary
EDA is seeking a competent Technical-Focused ProjectManager (known Internally as an EDA Project Engineer) who specializes in either Low Slope Roofing or Exterior Facade scopes.
The Project Engineer will interface with internal project teams to assist with their particular needs by serving as the dedicated team member tasked with researching and providing all required technical support to our PM teams by gaining profound knowledge of our projects, assisting with product selection, creating submittals, overseeing 3rd party shop drawings and engineering calculations, along with providing material take-offs and material order lists with professional oversight and solutions to challenges with design and field conditions. A Project Engineer will work with various departments from projectmanagement to shop fabrication and field operations, in order to ensure balance across various aspects of the project from constructability, sequencing and coordination to fabrication and install. Additionally, a Project Engineer will strive to improve by continuing to learn and research advanced technology regarding best practices in the field leading to cost-effective solutions.
A Project Engineer is generally located within the company and works alongside other professionals to meet customer's needs. They usually begin as ProjectManagers or Assistant ProjectManagers, and as they advance on their career path within the company will become transitioned to the role of Project Engineer through training and/or previous experience and technical knowledge of our scopes of work. Individuals with a firm holistic understanding of both the operational and scope aspects of projects tend to excel in this position.
You'll be a member of our brilliant engineering team, contributing to the design and construction of new cutting-edge architecture. Job Responsibilities
