Caring for clients/ patients will include:

Assist with billing and payroll functions to meet company deadlines

Complete caregiver reference checks and criminal background checks
Verify complete caregiver information in the file after hiring
Clerical
Prepare client and caregiver files including and other documentation
Perform general office functions such as sorting mail, data input, and file maintenance, ensuring all information is properly filed, organized, and easily accessible

Job Qualifications:

Must be able to provide verification of any certifications held
Experience as a caregiver in a home care setting or skilled facility

Prepare agency materials needed for Joint Commission accreditation
Create, manage, and update:

Lead quality improvement initiatives and safety reviews
Ensure timely follow-up on incidents, adverse events, and corrective actions
Support onboarding and competency validation for new nurses
Serve as a resource for escalation, clinical decision-making, and family questions
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain regulatory compliance
Requirements
Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1+ year clinical experience (home health, hospice, or acute care preferred)
Supervisory experience or leadership potential strongly preferred
Proficiency in wound care, IV therapy, and infusion administration
Strong understanding of documentation, compliance, and regulatory standards
