**Here's what you'd do:**
An Estimator will review plans and prepare bid information for commercial landscape and irrigation projects.
**You'd be responsible for:**
+ Gathering, calculating and compiling take off data for use in bid proposal estimates
+ Preparing routine estimates and detailed cost estimates for ancillary projects under the supervision of the Enhancement Manager.
+ Maintaining current and accurate information on prices from suppliers and subcontractors
+ Utilizing standard estimate computer software to present information to management
+ Demonstrating role model behaviors on ethics and integrity
**You might be a good fit if you have:**
+ Experience working in the landscaping industry on estimating and managing landscape and irrigation projects
+ Experience with HCSS preferred
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred Proficient with computer software programs including MS Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Primary Functions
Develop cost estimates for process piping and utility piping installation projects. Estimates can include any of the following determining costs for equipment, materials, pipe joining methods, rigging and equipment setting, pipe racks, subcontractor scopes of work, craftsmen labor, rental equipment, expenses, etc.
Presenting cost estimates to project managers, engineers, executive management and other relevant parties, explaining the methodology and assumptions used in the estimation process.
Review cost estimates from internal and external sources and perform Make-Buy analyses for procurement of these specific materials/equipment.
Work with CSI s standard cost estimating systems, while always reviewing current and future technologies. Suggest and implement new estimating technologies when necessary to keep CSI on the cutting edge of technology.
Assist project managers with the creation of quotes or proposals to customers. (Installation, Equipment, or Systems)
Respond to customer requests for information.
Partner with our Fabrication Team to develop cost estimates on items that can/will be fabricated in-house.

Ensure compliance with all safety rules, regulations and procedures trained and/or implemented by CSI staff.
Generate line layouts for the purpose of cost estimating and planning purposes.

Review and interpret project specifications and scopes of work documents.
Maintain all customer and prospect accounts and contacts in CSI s CRM software per training and published procedures.
Visit future or possible customer sites to aid in design or scope of project.
Assist Project Managers in development of project projection reports on a monthly basis to determine job performance and communicate performance to management.
Visit in-progress installation sites to provide any assistance and support necessary to field staff.
Develop AutoCAD drawings as required for projects, typically P & ID and layout drawings.
Compare actual data with forecast data after jobs are completed to improve quoting accuracy and techniques.
