* The Crew Leader is responsible for overseeing landscape operations at client sites, managing a crew of 2-5 team members to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to BrightView's quality standards. This role involves supervising a variety of service lines, including basic landscape maintenance, installation, and supportive services such as irrigation, seasonal color management, and chemical applications. The Crew Leader plays a key role in maintaining client satisfaction through effective team leadership and high-quality service delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain a schedule and ensure service expectations are met
Surface customer problems or concerns and report back to Operations Manager
Assist in resolving issues with customer service when needed
Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies
Communicate regularly with Operations Manager to ensure client needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded
Deliver services as specified on client sites
Work to identify more efficient ways to perform work
Coordinate service execution with Operations Manager
Oversee day-to-day site operations and delegate work to crew team members
Provide Operations Manager feedback on crew member(s)
Work with Operations Manager, helping to develop and train crew members
Ensure equipment preventative maintenance is performed as needed and equipment is in good working order
Participate in branch meetings as directed
Accurately capture and turn in crew time logs through electronic time capture (ETC)
Log equipment usage and maintenance cycles
Education and Experience:
BrightView Equipment certifications
Experience in a landscape-related field
Demonstrated leadership among the team and with peers
Valid Driver License
Physical Demands/Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs. (mulch, fertilizer, etc.)
Ability to load/unload burlaps with plant cuttings onto trailer (up to 50 lbs.)
Ability to bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day
Work Environment:
Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic
Work near or about natural bodies of water
Ability to work in extreme conditions - temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit
Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time
Work outdoors in moderate to extreme heat in dry/humid near automotive traffic, natural bodies of water, fumes, dust, mechanical/electrical hazards, and direct sunlight.

Maintanance Install Business Developer

The Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here. * The Landscape Maintenance Installation Business Developer is responsible for driving new business growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing contracts for small scale landscape construction services and installation projects. This role requires a strong balance of sales expertise, industry knowledge, and relationship management to expand the client base, increase revenue, and ensure long-term customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales
* Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold outreach.
* Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities for installation projects outside the Maintenance book of business.
* Develop customized proposals and sales presentations that address client needs and highlight company value.
* Negotiate and close contracts in alignment with company pricing standards and profitability goals.
Client Relationship Management
* Build strong, long-term relationships with property managers, developers, general contractors, and decision-makers.
* Work with Client and BV Team to transition final installation to a long-term Maintenance Partner.
* Serve as the primary point of contact during the sales cycle and ensure a smooth transition to operations teams post-sale.
* Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction, identify upsell opportunities, and drive retention.
Market Awareness & Industry Engagement
* Stay informed on local market conditions, competitor activity, and industry trends to identify new opportunities.
* Represent the company at trade associations, networking events, and community engagements.
* Leverage market intelligence to position the company as a preferred partner for landscaping installation solutions.
Collaboration & Reporting
* Partner with estimating, operations, and project management teams to ensure accurate proposals and service delivery.
* Review large scale ($1M or greater) jobs with senior leadership (SVP) and collaborate with Branch Manager and Enhancement Manager on all opportunities up to ($1M)
* Work with branch and senior leadership to set annual sales goals, budgets, and strategies.
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline development, and results using CRM systems.
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in business, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
* 3-5 years of proven success in B2B sales preferably in landscaping, construction, property management, facility management, or related service industries.
* Knowledge of landscape maintenance and installation practices, horticulture, and project management fundamentals.
* Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently.
* Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting.
Physical Demands/Requirements:
* Regular local travel to client sites, industry events, and networking opportunities.
* Office-based activities including proposal development, client follow-up, and team collaboration.
* Ability to physically perform the basic life operational functions of walking, standing, and kneeling.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Work Environment:
* Works in an indoor office and outdoors during construction site walks or project evaluations
* Requires occasional evening and/or weekend networking events or meetings.

The Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here. * The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent reports directly to the Golf Course Superintendent and is responsible for executing the Superintendent's job duties in the superintendent's absence. The Superintendent is entrusted with the maintenance, operation, and management of the golf course. This position serves as a liaison between the company, the customer representative, and the golf shop on matters related to daily course operations. The Superintendent is easily contacted and also remains in contact with key employees on the golf course at all times. The Assistant Superintendent must be able to respond quickly to any situation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist the Superintendent in the organization and direct maintenance of all areas within the scope and according to the technical specifications of the contract
* Supervise the operation, maintenance, and repair of all equipment assigned to the course
* Procure and manage supplies and materials to support maintenance activities
* Manage golf course maintenance employees
* Provide valuable input on the interview, hiring, training, discipline, and separation process
* Protect the company's interest through an awareness of and compliance with all applicable regulations, including course and company policies
* Administer all aspects of the BrightView Safety Program and the BV360 Management program
* Represent BrightView Golf Maintenance positively and professionally, including attitude, appearance, and public relations
* Meet or exceed external and internal customer expectations
Education and Experience:
* Experience in golf course management and turf culture preferred
* An awareness of the construction, establishment, and maintenance practices employed on golf course putting greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers
* A degree or advanced knowledge of agronomy, horticulture, plant, or soil science is preferred
* Aptitude for administrative and executive responsibilities, including effective oral and written communication skills and computer proficiency
* Must obtain and maintain a state-sanctioned pesticide applicator license within 6 months of entry into this job
* Familiar with the characteristics and proper use of fertilizers and soil conditioners
* Knowledge of irrigation, including watering practices, irrigation systems, pumps, wells, and automatic controls and drainage
* Able to prepare the course for play in accordance with the rules of golf
* Evaluate the course from the player's perspective
Physical Demands/Requirements:
* Constant operation of a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, photocopier, and computer printer
* Ability to physically perform the basic life operational functions of walking, standing, and kneeling
Work Environment:
* Work in an indoor office and also outdoors during site walkthroughs and site supervision duties
