Hours of work: Full-time position with hours Mondays - Fridays, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 Hours/Week Under the supervision of the E&A supervisor or group leader, the technician will perform all functions under this job description. This includes all necessary functions to maintain a clean and safe shop. Complies with all Company and Safety Policies and procedures in the performance of assigned duties. Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to) Comply with company policies Assist with Annual and day to day Perform all general labor functions Sweep floors Empty trash Cut grass/remove snow when needed Load/unload trucks Operate fork truck Operate jib hoist and overhead crane Operate small power tools Operate and maintain all personal safety equipment Assemble all standard products, such as disposorbs, vaporpacs, high flow ventsorbs, etc. Pressure test all assembled units to meet necessary requirements Recondition small returnable units, such as cyclesorbs, bulk bins, etc. Weigh/Load carbon into the small systems as needed. Assist in receiving and verification of quantities of materials and parts delivered to E&A. Read instructions & drawings as necessary for the reconditioning and assembly of standard products. Fabricates lined pipe (PPL and TFE). This includes cutting, threading, assembly, flaring and testing of pipe spools from 1" through 4". Cuts, threads, and assembles carbon steel pipe, plastic pipe and stainless steel pipe Assists with warehousing duties. Performs layout and assembly on all small equipment such as cyclesorbs, bulk bins, vapor paks and high flow ventsorbs (and fan skids). Maintain CCC's service equipment. We have opportunities for both Light Assemblers and Heavy Assemblers, each with specific responsibilities and requirements. Light Assembler Key Responsibilities: Assembly: Read work orders, follow production drawings, and verbal instructions to assemble components, subassemblies, products, or systems. Positioning: Use jigs, fixtures, or other holding devices to position and align parts in specified relationships. Securing Parts: Crimp, stake, screw, bolt, rivet, weld, solder, cement, press fit, or perform similar operations to secure parts in place. Wiring: Connect component lead wires to printed circuits and route wires between components, connectors, terminals, and contact points. Installation: Install finished assemblies or subassemblies into cases and cabinets. Hardware Attachment: Assemble and attach hardware like caps, clamps, knobs, and switches to assemblies. Intermediate Tasks: Perform tasks such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, stamping, and color-coding parts and assemblies. Adjustments: Trim materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics. Testing: Perform online go-no-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards. Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned. Your Profile and Qualifications: Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED required; 2 years of experience in the assembly field or in a related area. Vocational training preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and SAP. Ability to read and comprehend technical documents, blueprints, and schematics. Mechanical Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical systems and manual dexterity for precision work. Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, occasional over-the-head lifting, frequent walking, and handling objects up to 30 pounds.
