As the Speech Therapist in Home Health is responsible for the assessment and evaluation of patient care needs related to treating speech and language disorders, and functional training in communication, swallowing, and cognitive impairments. Based on this assessment and evaluation, the Speech Therapist works to help determine a treatment plan, performs interventions aimed at improving and enhancing the patient's well-being, and evaluates the patient's progress. Primary Responsibilities: Provides services within the scope of practice as defined by the state laws governing the practice of speech therapy, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other members of the health care team Evaluates the patient's level of function by applying diagnostic and prognostic functional ability tests.     Duties and Responsibilities Drive equipment in a professional and safe manner at all times Deliver products as invoiced to specified licensed retailers Check-in invoiced orders with customers in a friendly, courteous manner Collect and return all payments as required Account for all invoices of merchandise delivered and merchandise returned Complete appropriate paperwork throughout the delivery process Ensure truck check-in procedures are followed daily Ensure truck service and safety issues are reported daily Maintain an accurate DOT log book, if required Follow DOT Regulations at all times Attend monthly safety meetings Attend required safety courses and other classes as needed Report any local, state or federal moving violations to management Perform other job related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalency; or an equivalent combination of education and experience One year of driver experience Must be 21 years of age Valid CMV / CDL / Class A or B license Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs. for an extended period of time.
