Reviews and enhances IT policy and procedures to ensure all IT platforms are compliant with corporate policies and guidelines with regards to enterprise networking. Ensure adequate staff/scheduling of Network Engineers for both daily and on-call operations providing 24/7 support for the production enterprise network. Participate in ongoing optimization and preparation for disaster preparedness including supporting key roles in the Business Continuity Plan (BCP), Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP). Provides value by bringing a passion to continually discover ways to improve current processes and suggest new processes to add growing value. Assists in business analysis to determine and clarify informational requirements and business opportunities. Maintains a central source of information such as a knowledge base enabling support staff to recover from outages with minimal disruption to expected service levels. Lifecycle management of all enterprise networking software and hardware. This includes budgetary responsibility over enterprise networking product evaluation, purchase/upgrades, renewals, and decommission. Interacts with vendors, suppliers, and contractors for equipment and carrier services. Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer related field and 8+ years related experience or AS degree and 10+ years of related experience Must possess at least 8 years of experience supporting a complex enterprise networking environment. Experience with datacenter management, consolidation, IT operations, and M&A activities. Incumbent must hold one or more of the following: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), VMware Certified Professional Network Virtualization (VCP-NV), CompTIA Network+.
