KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Open, electronically deposit, reconcile, and record all mailed donations on a daily basis while adhering to the defined process for financial controls and accuracy of donation entry. 2. Reconcile online donations, including annual gift catalog donations, on a daily basis while adhering to the defined process for financial controls and accuracy of donation entry. 3. Process receipts in a timely manner, both electronic and mail receipts, following established receipting guidelines and IRS regulations. 4. Partner with finance team to provide accurate and timely deposit information and resolve any discrepancies. Provide backup documentation for multiple giving platforms, including fee structure reconciliation. 5. Troubleshoot online giving issues for donors, resolving the issue and following up by phone or email with the donor. 6. Ensure that Individual Retirement Account, stock, estate, donor-advised fund, and multi-agency donations are processed appropriately and acknowledged based on established guidelines and regulations. 7. Participate in annual audit work, providing all required information to finance team in a timely manner. 8. Prepare cash for deposit. 9. Provide remote deposit of non-revenue checks for finance team. 10. Identify special circumstances that require additional research or input; perform the necessary research, and or obtain appropriate guidance. 11. Maintain CRM data integrity through impeccable entry of new contact information, monitoring and scrubbing duplicate data from integrated systems, and updating demographic and mailing information. 12. Collaborate with WR fundraising and finance teams by providing accurate revenue reports, answering questions regarding gifts, and providing excellent internal customer service. 13. Scope of Work
The Child Life Specialist/Adult and Family Support team member provides developmentally appropriate information about medical tests, procedures, and new diagnoses. They offer procedural support, assist with coping during hospitalization, and manage pain using nonpharmacologic methods. Additionally, they provide support during end-of-life care and bereavement, sharing resources and helping develop legacy materials. This support is available for children of adult patients, adolescent patients transitioning to adult care, and developmentally delayed patients up to 21 years of age.

Provides diversional and therapeutic play activities and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to provide an integrated approach.
This role serves a variety of patients from General Medical to Psychiatric Pediatric/Adolescent patients.

Completion of a 600-hour Child Life Internship Required to qualify

Youth League Basketball Official

Part-time Description
This position works on the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids sports team and will be responsible for reffing youth basketball games at various Y locations, based on program demand.
The League Sports Official will be responsible for the refereeing and officiating of youth games. The League Sports Official will ensure a safe, fun area for members and participants to interact and enjoy. This position requires face-to-face leadership in the program and may involve early morning, evening, and weekend responsibilities. Saturday availability is required, 8 AM to 5 PM.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Follows Association safety procedures and protocols
Officiates games in a fair manner according to Association rules
Must demonstrate the ability to control all aspects of a basketball game
Works closely with league coaches
Ensures participants have fun
Performs any other functions necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapid
COMPENSATION
$14.35 - $17.93 ; Part-Time, Non-Exempt (up to 25hrs/week)

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have reasonable knowledge of the game of basketball
Experience of one to two months of athletic or sports officiating is preferred.
Ability to interact with people of all ethnic backgrounds, ages, and lifestyles required.
Youth officials must have a desire to work with children and their parents/guardians.
Must be at least 14 years of age
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION
State of Michigan criminal background clearance (ICHAT)
Blood Borne Pathogen training
CPR Certification required within the first 60 days
First Aid Certification required within the first 60 days
AED-Oxygen Certification required within the first 60 days

POSITION SUMMARY
The Horse Camp Coordinator works in conjunction with Equestrian Manager to assist with day-to-day horse camp operations. This may include assisting teaching riding lessons, teaching barn lessons, leading trail rides, help with all aspects of managing a horse herd, and maintaining a safe horse program, and/or other tasks as needed. The Horse Camp Coordinator is required to live on site.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist in getting horses ready in the morning and turning them out at night
Assist in general care of horses including but not limited to watering, feeding, medicating, etc.
Help maintain a safe riding program by monitoring trail rides and campers closely for dangerous situations
Assist with farrier
Keep track of campers riding levels and bring to Equestrian Manager attention riders ready to move up
Maintain Horse Camp equipment and horse behavior logs
Ensure trail rides and riding lessons are running on time and smoothly
Assume the role and duties of counselor as determined by the Summer Camp Director
Performs any other functions necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids
COMPENSATION
This position is required to live on site, housing is provided. Meals are provided Sunday - Friday. Staff are allowed to remain on site during the weekends throughout their seasonal employment if they choose. Scheduled time off will be granted each day.
$75.00 per day; Seasonal, Non-Exempt
