Sonic Assistant Manager
The assistant manager assists with directing overall restaurant management. Directs staff to ensure the food safety, product preparation, and that cleanliness standards are maintained. Maintains standards of physical restaurant safety and security. May assist with recruiting staff and overseeing training programs. May be responsible for inventory and money control systems on their shift. Responsible for assisting with local marketing initiatives - may contact prospective customers to promote sales. Assists with maintaining necessary business records. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Communicates changes of food preparation formulas, standards, etc. to all foodservice team members.
Ensures that all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety and security policies are followed.
Supports local and national marketing initiatives.
Identifies and contacts prospective customers to promote sales, as needed by the QSR manager.
Assists with coordinating promotions, caterings and other special events as directed.
Completes all training initiatives provided by the QSR brand.
Essential Functions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physical: Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized POS system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Full-time/Part-time/Day Shift/Weekend Shift positions vary by location.

Key Responsibilities:
Site Cleanliness & Appearance:
Keep wash bays, vacuum areas, equipment rooms, and grounds clean and presentable
Empty trash, restock supplies, and maintain a neat appearance throughout the day
Perform light pressure washing and general tidying as needed
Preventative Maintenance:
Perform simple daily and weekly checks on wash equipment
Refill soaps, waxes, monitor chemical levels and notify management when reorder is needed
Identify and report issues before they become bigger problems
Perform basic troubleshooting (reset equipment, clear minor jams) and report larger issues to management.
Customer Support:
Greet customers when on site and offer friendly assistance
Help customers understand how to use the automatic wash
Calmly assist with minor issues (receipt questions, wash instructions, etc.)
General Site Oversight:
Be a visible, trustworthy presence on site
Monitor for safety issues or vandalism
Communicate site needs or concerns to ownership/management

What You Need:
Reliable transportation and the ability to consistently show up on time
Comfort working outdoors and staying active with light physical tasks
Willingness to perform hands-on work, follow checklists, and learn basic equipment checks (training provided)
Strong attention to detail to keep the site clean, safe, and operating smoothly
Professional communication skills to assist customers when needed
Driver's license
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
