Thriveworks is currently seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Oregon. Clinicians need to be licensed and living in the state in which they will be practicing. Compensation: This is a Fee for Service (W2) position, the range for this position is $71,000-$102,000 per year based on 15-20 clinical hours per week. To maintain safety and best practices for our clinicians and patients via telemedicine, Thriveworks does not push or incentivize the use of stimulant medications; instead, we offer them as an option based on the client's specific symptoms and diagnosis, with prescribing decisions left to the discretion of the clinician. We do not currently treat substance use disorders, and make every effort to refer out to an in-person provider when symptoms arise that are too severe to be treated via telemedicine only. /RESPONSIBILITIES Serves as member of health care team that provides primary and/or specialized health care including preventive care and on-going health maintenance for selected groups of patients. Functions in a variety of settings ranging from ambulatory to inpatient. Participates in the care of well, acutely ill and chronically ill patients EDUCATION A Registered Professional Nurse who is prepared for advanced nursing practice by virtue of knowledge and skills obtained through an accredited post basic or advanced educational program of study acceptable to the Board of Nurse Examiners. Key Responsibilities Clinical Care Conduct new patient consultations, follow-up visits, and post-procedure evaluations in the outpatient clinic. Perform focused histories, physical examinations, and order/interpret diagnostic test results (e.g., echocardiograms, stress testing, vascular studies, labs).
