(i.e. the parent, grandparent, care givers, teachers, Personal Care Aide) for the transfer of skills which allows for successful discharge of services. • Collaborates with all members of the treatment team and professionals working in the home or other community settings, including the family. • Documents behavioral and program data during session, from each environment; Maintains progress notes for every billable contact or per regulatory and program requirements. • Maintains contact with case specific treatment team. • Submits payroll weekly or as directed by supervisor; including all county specific paperwork required with weekly submission. • Receives scheduled supervision from an assigned clinical supervisor • Attends training as required; attains required training hours per fiscal year. • May perform other related duties, when required or assigned. In late 2025, GJR in PA will expand services to include the opening of a Juvenile Secure Detention Facility in Fayette County, PA. In order to meet the needs of the youth placed in the facility, GJR in PA is hiring up to 15 Behavioral Health Technicians. Summary of the Position: The Behavioral Health Technician will be assigned to work 7 a.m. - 3 p.m., 3 p.m. - 11 p.m., or 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the safety, security, and ensure effective operations of the facility. Duties and Responsibilities: Implement treatment/programming and attend treatment team meetings Provide safety and security at all times Complete documentation as required Provide food service to persons served Coordinate daily youth activities and follow established routine in order to support structure Complete required training per policies and regulations Pass medications Provide safety and security when transporting youth. BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES/Behavioral Health Technician (ABA) Position Definition: The Behavioral Health Technician ABA will provide one-to-one behavioral interventions with clients and serve as a model for appropriate and pro-social behaviors. Relationship: The Behavioral Health Technician ABA shall be directly responsible to the Supervisor of Mental Health Services. Qualifications: Education/Experience: High School Diploma, or equivalent, and 40 hours of training in content covered by Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) training, as verified by a BCBA. Completion of all ongoing training, policy review, and supervisory requirements. Skills/Knowledge: Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work positively in a strength-based intervention model. Ability to adhere to mandated timelines and provide services to clients and families. Due to itinerant nature of position, must have a valid driver's license. Physical: Ability to drive. Ability to physically restrain student, in accordance with CLIU protocols. Speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate effectively by phone or in person at normal volumes. Vision adequate to read correspondence, computer screen, forms, etc. Good manual dexterity. Ability to conduct a safety restraint protocol which requires: a normal degree of flexibility; the ability to stand, walk, run, and shuffle for at least several minutes; the ability to kneel on one and two knees and then stand up; the ability to bend the trunk at 45 degrees and twist to either side; the ability to grasp firmly and raise hands above the head; and the ability to learn and correctly demonstrate multi-step physical skills. Authority: The Behavioral Health Technician ABA will have the authority to perform all functions listed below in accordance with established policies and procedures.
