    Job Summary: 3IMC is a twenty-four bed Intermediate Care Unit cardiac specific unit. The registered nurse provides direct care to patients that require a higher level of care and continuous cardiac monitoring. The following types of patients are admitted to the unit: atrial/ventricle dysrhythmias, bradycardia/tachycardia events, post catheterization, post pacemaker placements, and heart failure patients. 3IMC also provides care to medical IMC level patients. The Patient Care Technician II assists the nursing staff by performing assigned duties for patient and staff under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. The Patient Care Tech II duties include but are not limited to secretarial functions and NA II skills.
