The ED (Emergency Department) Nurse Navigator functions on the multidisciplinary team as an advocate, educator, and counselor for ED patients. Coordinates patient care and patient experience through follow-up with ED patients regarding outstanding diagnostic testing, patient feedback and patient callbacks. Serves as a liaison throughout the facility and in the community regarding services provided for the ED.
