    Job Summary: The Staff Nurse is responsible for implementing the philosophies, objectives, standards of care, and policies and procedures of the Nursing Division under the direction of the Nurse Manager. The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care. PeriOperative Services is a fast paced, critical care environment, encompassing the PreAnesthesia Testing, PreOp, and Post Anesthesia Care units. Staff nurses must be flexible, hardworking team players. ACLS and PALS are required within six months of employment for PreOp and PACU (offered on site). In these areas patients are prepped and recovered from surgery, working closely with the OR, anesthesiologists and CRNAs.
