As a Civil CAD Technician, you are a vital member of our design team. Each day you come to work eager to tackle a variety of site development projects that include commercial, industrial, public works, and more. You take each project from concept to construction documents, and every step requires your excellent drafting skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Summary/Objective
The Austin Company performs design-build work for the industrial and specialized commercial market. The Structural Intern actively works with in-house engineers, architects, and construction departments to assist with ongoing functions. In addition to assisting with project support, each intern participates in an interactive intern-specific project. We are hiring a Civil Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to join our Rogers, AR team. This role focuses on civil engineering, site development, land development, and municipal infrastructure projects. Lead projects from design to completion, mentor junior engineers, and deliver innovative, code-compliant engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and manage civil engineering projects, including site and land development, roads, utilities, and municipal infrastructure
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal engineering standards
Mentor and manage junior engineers
Communicate with clients, contractors, and internal teams
Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arkansas or eligibility by comity
5+ years of civil engineering experience
Experience in site development, land development, and municipal infrastructure
Proficiency in Civil 3D is a plus
Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills
