Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and service equipment to troubleshoot and repair
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more
Communicate directly with Service Advisors regarding additional service needs and time estimates
Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of diagnostic/repair service experience preferred
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications preferred
Strong automotive background and problem-solving skills
Team-oriented with excellent communication abilities
Must submit to a drug screen and background check

Job Responsibilities:
Works alongside an assigned technician to learn to perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairs.
Assists the assigned technician as needed.
Delivers customer cars to service stalls as requested by technicians.
Picks up parts from the parts department as directed by technicians.
Performs safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance and minor repairs as directed.
Replenishes supplies as requested by technicians or service manager.
Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
Attends training classes and departmental meetings.
Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
One-year certificate from college or technical school
