Receive, inspect, and properly label raw materials in alignment with company and regulatory requirements. Monitor and document lot numbers, beyond-use dates (BUDs), and storage conditions for all compounding materials. Support routine inventory audits and cycle counts, ensuring all records remain precise, complete, and up to date. Dispose of expired materials and manage waste in accordance with applicable guidelines. Quality, Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all pharmacy policies, SOPs, and applicable state and federal regulations governing compounding practices. Assist with quality assurance activities, including reviewing logs, verifying preparations, and reporting deviations or concerns. Uphold ongoing compliance with USP standards and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Pharmacy Technician program preferred. Current pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) and state licensure in good standing. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in nonsterile compounding and inventory management. Thorough knowledge of USP 795 standards and best practices for nonsterile compounding. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed.
