Summary: As CNC Programmer the primary responsibilities will be the creation of CNC programs through the use of CAD/CAM software, general editors or manual entry of code on a controller. These programs run on a variety machine types, styles and controllers and have varying complexity. Other responsibilities will be to, perform program compare, maintain documents, conduct tool tests, recommend tools and fixtures, at times performing machine set up and program prove out including the measuring and inspection of the machined parts. The Milling Machinist sets up and operates a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. The Machinist is responsible for ensuring the product is loaded and unloaded correctly per standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities
Perform general set-ups on both Milling and Turning Machines to ensure maximum utilization -or- perform advanced set-ups on single machine type.
Mentors and trains level 1, 2, and 3 machinists.
Efficiently troubleshoots advanced set-up and programming issues with all relevant Cell equipment.
Work with CNC Programmer and Process Engineers to improve Cell processes.
Participate in NPI projects to incorporate Cell processes.
Work closely with Maintenance personnel/Process Engineering to ensure proper machine operation.
Administrative duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications
Generally, requires 3-5 years of Acumed Machining and Set-up experience, or 6-8 years external experience.
Successful completion of Tooling U and/or Machining Classes, or equivalent.
Mastery of Level 1, 2, and 3 competencies on Acumed Machinist Career Ladder and Qualifications.
Ability to Set-up, troubleshoot and operate a variety of machine tools to close tolerances.
Proven ability to read, understand, and troubleshoot CNC Machine programming.
Perform difficult set-ups efficiently, read drawings including GD&T, use precision measuring instruments and perform shop math calculations.
Minimum of 2 years of progressively complex machining assignments.
Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Basic math skills.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to read, understand and complete all documentation.

Job Description
The
Mold Maker Journeyman
will be responsible for performing new mold work, work on rough or semi-finished castings which are made into completed parts and make corrections or changes on unused mold equipment.
The Mold Maker Journeyman will:
Perform lathe work and makes, without use of profile, the following equipment from semi-finished castings: molds (excluding cavity), mold holders, mold bushings (outside diameter), round bottom plates, blanks (excluding cavity), baffle holders, baffle inserts, guide rings, guide ring inserts, blow head inserts, blow head holders, guide ring holders. The operator is also responsible for grinding own tools.
Perform bench work operations including blending, shaping, and matching cavities, making capacity corrections, necessary cavity relief and pantograph work where standard numerals and monograms are used.
Perform mill work consisting of making molds, blanks, baffles, bottoms, funnels and odd-shaped cavities - or cavities involving flutes, rib decorations, or matches where cavity cast rack displacement must be held to close tolerances. Responsible for grinding tapered, fly cutter arch, and other cutting tools, installing them, and making necessary mill adjustments.
The Mold Maker Journeyman should have:
Machine lathe and mill experience, automatic CNC mill and lathe knowledge is desirable
Experience reading blueprints and drawings
Experience with bench repair and welding
Ability to use all precision measuring device
Prior experience in an industrial manufacturing environment

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The candidate will have hands-on experience in setting up & operating CNC machines, performing first article processes using various measuring tools & equipment, troubleshooting issues, ensuring the production of high-quality parts and maintaining machines. If you are detail-oriented, technically skilled, and passionate about precision machining, this position is for you!
Reports to: Production Manager
Primary Responsibilities/Duties:
Setup & Operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.) to produce parts according to specifications and blueprints.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance and part accuracy.
Perform first article inspections and ensure parts meet quality standards using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues and production inconsistencies.
Collaborate with the programming team to improve machining processes and reduce cycle times.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and ensure equipment is in excellent working condition.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role.
Proficiency with G-code and M-code programming adjustments.
Strong understanding of machining principles and cutting tool applications.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T symbols.
Experience using precision measuring tools and performing quality checks.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude
Work overtime as needed

A Day in the Life of a CNC Lathe/Mill Machinist:
You will machine parts to meet Dynatect and customer specifications.
You will write, edit, load and execute a CNC program.
You will set up machines with minimal supervision and assistance upon completion of training.
You need to meet required production and productivity targets.
You will measure work pieces.
You will maintain all tools and ensure they are in proper working order.
You will ensure quality standards.
All other duties as assigned.
