Description
As a member of Apple's commercial litigation team, you will not be merely monitoring outside counsel. Rather, you will personally be formulating and driving strategy as well as working with a number of cross-functional teams and stakeholders across all product areas. The position requires a high degree of self-sufficiency, independent judgment, and a trial-focused approach. Travel is anticipated. You will operate as part of a supportive and fun team of lawyers, legal specialists, and support staff who work closely together to protect Apple's interests.
Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of major law firm and/or in-house litigation experience, including experience with competition-related litigation, subpoenas, and other investigations.
JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong technology interest and aptitude.
Trial experience and experience beyond competition related litigation.
Excellent communication, analytical, organization, and negotiation skills are essential.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $180,300 and $271,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Primary focus is on providing comprehensive clinical services and therapy which includes biopsychosocial assessments, screening and placement for level of care, diagnosis, individual psychotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, brief interventions utilizing evidence-based care and tools and educational counseling services to a caseload of person's served consisting of adults and children.
•Community- based mental health services which includes services in the persons served home, school or community location in addition to office and telehealth clinical services.
•BHP Licensed Psychotherapists are expected to complete the Certificate of Professional Initiating Involuntary Examination form for any individual meeting Baker Act criteria in their presence.
•BHPs and mandatory providers are expected to adhere to all Florida mandatory reporting laws in addition to but not limited to child abuse and elderly abuse.

The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $178,000 - $220,000. Lyft is seeking a sharp, dynamic, and self-motivated attorney with at least 5 years litigation experience to achieve Lyft's business goals at the intersection of law, policy, and technology. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to multiple internal business partners, and your work to minimize legal risk to the Company will be core to the success of the organization. Responsibilities:
Hands‑on responsibility for a wide variety of pre‑litigation, litigation, and administrative matters, with an emphasis on discrimination, accessibility, safety, mass torts, and/or other consumer claims.
Proactively approach all aspects of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, witness preparation, settlement negotiations, and trial and appellate strategies, to ensure alignment with Lyft's broader legal strategy.
Provide strategic and proactive legal advice to internal business partners, including but not limited to understanding and applying current law and regulations to Lyft's current and prospective products and services.
Work closely with internal business partners to help craft solutions to the novel legal challenges Lyft faces every day.
Manage outside counsel in your areas of coverage, including tactical guidance, staffing, case management, budgeting, and alignment with Lyft's broader legal strategy.
Experience:
J.D. degree from a top‑tier law school and membership in at least one state bar.
5+ years civil litigation experience at a mid to large size law firm. Strong preference is given to candidates with prior in‑house experience.
Prior experience with discrimination, accessibility, safety, mass torts, and/or other consumer claims is preferred.
Excellent problem‑solving capabilities, strategic thinking, judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Both detail oriented and able to see the big picture.
Ability to operate autonomously while being a team player who brings a positive attitude to the workplace and is willing to jump on any project, big or small.
Executive presence and ability to communicate legal risks and recommendations to business partners.

In this position you will provide patient care for our Medicare Advantage patients that is compassionate, appropriate, and effective for the treatment of health problems and the promotion of health with preventative care as the core approach located at our Community Wellness Center.
