A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
As a Maintenance Technician, you will execute maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, painting, and other building systems and equipment. You complete daily checks of mechanical systems throughout the entire facility and make repairs. You also spend time in our restaurants, troubleshooting and repairing the kitchen equipment. Based on a set schedule, you execute preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems. You also handle carpentry tasks as needed. With your go-getter attitude, you see what needs to be done and get it done. You are essential to our success!
WORK SCHEDULE
The work schedule will include day and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays based on the Club's operational needs.

Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:
Working knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.

Purpose Statement

• Diagnose and repairs of kitchen equipment, HVAC equipment, electrical issues, etc.

Working hours are primarily early mornings, however, occasional flexible shifts may be scheduled to meet operational needs.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Must be 18 years of age or older and have reliable transportation.
Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends. Typically, hours will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7 am - 12:00 noon. Hours may fluctuate during tournaments; additional hours may be scheduled based on candidate's availability and operational needs.
Criminal and MVR background check required.
Must have good customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.
Must display good judgement, follow directions thoroughly and work with minimal supervision.
Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality is required.

Job Title: Venues Maintenance Technician Department: Islands Maintenance Reports To: Director of Facilities and Maintenance Job Type: Full-Time FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt The Venues Maintenance Technician maintains venues and buildings outside of the Lodge throughout the property, including roads, structures, fountains, waterfalls, buildings, and equipment, functioning and in good repair. They keep the premises presentable and safe by performing the tasks of maintenance as directed by the Director of Facilities and Maintenance, as well as assisting and performing duties outside of the areas noted at times when needed, as directed by the Director or the Divisional Manager on Duty (MOD).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Director of Facilities and Maintenance and the Assistant Director in maintaining the Venues, Buildings, and Grounds outside of the Lodge and Rooms operations, including direction and coordination of tasks and projects.
Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Assist the Director with day-to-day operations including but not limited to HVAC systems, equipment maintenance, painting, key control systems, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics and overall grounds and buildings maintenance.
Able to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays, and maintain a 24-hour on-call status in case of emergency.
Possess skills in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, painting, drywall, and basic carpentry.
Work with fellow managers to maintain all Lanier Islands facilities.
Assist Director by communicating, informing, and updating on all ongoing projects and tasks.
