This key non-clinical position supports the Department of Pharmacy Services Informatics team in managing pharmacy computer systems and technology to optimize pharmacy practice across all acute and non-acute care locations (including Helen F. Graham Cancer Center and Neighborhood Hospitals). You will serve as a liaison between Pharmacy, Revenue Cycle, Finance, and other internal and external partners to ensure effective communication and resolution of billing issues.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
* Resolve billing discrepancies and errors daily; support completion of non-formulary charges
* Review department finance reports and patient charges; maintain a current database of AWP price information; synchronize drug charges; collaborate with Patient Finance and Medical Audit on medication charge issues; build and troubleshoot ambulatory charge-on-administration functionality
* Update drug pricing quarterly and manage NDC numbers and HCPCS billing codes
* Maintain solid understanding of OmniCenter/Pyxis databases, including billing and operations
* Collaborate with Pharmacy and Revenue Integrity to ensure all necessary charge codes are available
* Connect with Revenue Cycle teams to resolve account problems; participate in meetings to address payor concerns
* Assist IT in troubleshooting pharmacy-related printer and operational issues
* Support data extracts from PharmNet and Omnicell/Pyxis for medication usage, inventory location, monthly cost transfers, and system activity
* Document system problems identified by staff and bring up for resolution.
* Assist with testing changes to hospital applications that impact Pharmacy Services.
Education and Experience Requirements:
* High School diploma required
* Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
* At least two years of hospital pharmacy experience required
* PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) certification required
* Computer experience required
* Experience with pharmacy automation systems preferred

ChristianaCare is recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician to work full time, midnight shift. Weekends and holidays as required.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the pharmacist in providing timely, efficient, cost effective, and appropriate pharmaceutical care to the patient
Refill patient medication bins through robot cart fill and manual picks; update carts by including new orders, removing discontinued medications, and transferring medications. Update labeling of bins on admission, transfer, and discharge of patients
Deliver and exchange 24-hour cart fill to nursing units at scheduled times. Check medication storage areas for discontinued and discharged patient medications; ensure that returned medications are placed back into stock
Reorder medications in short supply and restock the picking station and other areas of the pharmacy
Send prepared medications via pneumatic tube system. Any medication that cannot be tubed is delivered to the appropriate location on the nursing unit
Manage automated dispensing cabinet inventory, including accurate selection and loading of medications
Ensure that medications are stored properly and that only in date medications are stored. Remove discontinued medication
Receive and check incoming supplier order(s)
Prepare IV medications using aseptic techniques and in following processes in full compliance with USP 795, 797, and 800 federal regulations
Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and closed system transfer devices (as needed) for the preparation of chemotherapy and other hazardous medications
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma required
Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification required unless enrolled in a PharmD program.
Applicants with Pharmacy Technician experience are encouraged to apply and will be required to obtain PTCB certification within 1 year of employment.
Applicants enrolled or graduate of a 4-year bachelor program in the following health science majors are encourage to apply and will be required PTCB certification within 1 year of employment: Applied Molecular Biology and Biotechnology Biology, Chemistry, Exercise Science, Health Behavior Science, Human Physiology, Medical Diagnostics, Medical Diagnostics Pre-PA, Medical Laboratory Science, Nutrition, Nutrition and Dietetics, Nutrition and Medical Sciences, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant or Sports Health

POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs all activities of the Department of Nuclear Medicine in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Hospital. Short Description
Assists interventionalists in all procedures within the scope of interventional Radiology and Vascular surgery to include but not limited to oncology, vascular and trauma.
Skill set must be maintained to handle supplies/instrumentation associated with interventional procedures.

A Brief Overview
This RPSGT position is 36 hours -3 12's 6p-6:30am. Every third weekend -Saturdays only. Location will be at Main PHL campus and also will be required to go to NJ satellites- Voorhees. 1 year of expereince is required
The Polysomnography Technologist- RPSGT carries out all technical duties for the Sleep Center under the supervision of the medical director or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation of sleep disorders. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, research, or patient care and education. The Polysomnographic Technologist effectively troubleshoots difficult technical problems and demonstrates the ability to use critical thinking skills for problem solving. In addition to demonstrating clinical leadership, the Polysomnography Technologist serves as a resource and consultant to staff and participates in endeavors to increase polysomnography knowledge.
What you will do
Practice: Provides expert care using intuitive, reasoning and experience.
Prepares and calibrates equipment required for testing to determine proper functioning and makes adjustments, if necessary, including applying electrodes and sensors according to accepted published standards, and performing appropriate physiologic calibrations (when age and cognitive function appropriate) ensuring proper signals and making adjustments, if necessary.
Documents routine observations, changes in procedure and significant events in order to facilitate scoring and interpretation of polysomnographic results.
Follows procedural protocols (such as PAP titration, oxygen titration, research protocols etc.) ensuring collection of appropriate data.

A Brief Overview
This RRT position is 24 hours a week- 2 12 hour shifts 6pm to 6:30 am in sleep lab- some holidays and every third weekend will be required.
The Polysomnography Technologist-RRT carries out all technical duties for the Sleep Center under the supervision of the medical director or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation of sleep disorders. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, research, or patient care and education. The Polysomnographic Technologist effectively troubleshoots difficult technical problems and demonstrates the ability to use critical thinking skills for problem solving. In addition to demonstrating clinical leadership, the Polysomnographic Technologist serves as a resource and consultant to staff and participates in endeavors to increase polysomnography knowledge. Uses respiratory therapy knowledge to provide specialized patient care and provides support to other staff in procedures necessary for these patients.
