What You'll Do: Assist with setups and machine operation as required Schedule direct labor operators to meet production schedule and OTD requirements along with maximizing machine utilization Monitor ERP transactions and ensure accuracy Monitor equipment performance and preventative maintenance and work with operations manager / maintenance team to address issues Coordinate with production control team on schedule on a regular basis to ensure alignment Collect operational data, analyze, and report out as needed to provide details on work cell/zone performance Engage with CI and Engineering groups on process improvement activities Engage in technical problem solving in conjunction with other groups Accountability for quality of product Involvement in training of work cell/zone staff Establish/Maintain 6S philosophy and mindset Assist Operations Manager with short to medium term planning of manufacturing strategy Responsible for ensuring compliance to quality standards that satisfy corporate, customer, and regulatory requirements in various areas including, but not limited to, our quality system, GMP, FDA, ISO, OSHA, and EPA What You'll Need: High School diploma or equivalent 5 years minimum experience in manufacturing/machining environment Capable of setting up and operating CNC machines Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form Mathematical skills to manage units of measure, fractions, decimals, whole numbers Ability to use measuring devices and hand tools Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment to meet quality and quantity quotas Experience using diagrams or blueprints, and follow other written or verbal instructions Mechanically inclined with good dexterity - able to use both hand and power tools Able to quality check finished product ability to suggest sending unsatisfactory items to rework
