You will be part of a global inspection team assuring the quality of components and assemblies. Once on the team, you will be deployed through SQA's operations center based on client needs and each supplier's production.Responsibilities:
Review final inspection or critical features.
Review of Final inspection sign-off sheet.
Verification that inspection equipment used to take measurements is capable of detecting defects.
Verification that inspection methodology is adequate per drawing intent.
Assure products are free of gaps, mismatches, fairing, and of acceptable contour and waviness.
Assure products are of good workmanship and within specified workmanship standards (e.g., oil canning, riding conditions, loose fasteners, drill starts, scratches, dings, burrs, fastener edge distance, etc.).
Verify all visible part finishes, paint, and skin quality are acceptable to required visual standards.
Verify hardware cleanliness and absence of internal or external foreign object debris.
Verify fasteners are properly installed; assure torque stripe is continuous from head to the surface and of correct color.
Verify applicable First Article Inspection (FAI) requirements have been completed, traceability of supporting records, documentation of results and overall compliance.
Verify shipping documentation is legible and includes correct identification (part number, serial number), configuration change letter, PD line item/quantity/change letter, shipping destination, etc.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in mechanical inspection, preferably in aerospace or a related field.
Strong knowledge of inspection methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Requirements:
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must be willing to undergo background check.

We're hiring a Floating Quality Control Technician (Construction Inspector) to support quality control inspections across our multifamily construction projects. This role is also commonly referred to as a Construction Inspector or Construction Quality Control Technician and is a strong entry-level opportunity for someone looking to get started in the construction industry.
About the Role
This role supports final inspections and general field quality control across active construction sites. Workload and hours may vary depending on project phase. During slower inspection periods, technicians assist with other field inspection and quality control technician tasks to stay productive and support the site.
This position is best suited for candidates interested in traveling construction jobs who are flexible, dependable, and motivated to learn.
What You'll Do
Conduct quality control and construction inspections near project completion
Use inspection checklists to monitor compliance with quality standards
Assist with monitoring work across mechanical, electrical, structural, and finish trades
Complete QA documentation, reports, and inspection logs
Communicate findings and improvement opportunities with on-site construction teams
Act as an internal customer prior to turnover to Community Management
Manage inspection schedules across multiple job sites
Participate in project and progress meetings as needed
Assist with additional site or quality-related tasks during slower periods
Perform other duties as assigned by the QA Manager

What you'll do:
Review of specifications, procedures and specified standards utilized on the construction site
Electrical testing monitoring
Inspection, witnessing or verification to establish the quality of a material, structure or system
