JOB CLASSIFICATION: Full-time PAY RATE: Hourly REPORTS TO: Construction Supervisor PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Previous construction telecommunications construction is preferred * Thorough knowledge of telecommunications construction including excavation equipment, utility lines & poles, and trenching equipment * Must be able to read, understand, and comprehend engineering/blueprint design plans * Plans, organizes, and completes projects in the shortest, most efficient manner * Proficient written and oral communications skills * Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor and provide general assistance to other employees as directed ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS-INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING * Keep materials & equipment organized, cleaned, and in proper running order * Demonstrates a strong commitment and dedication to delivering excellent customer service through executing by BTS mission and values * Maintain a strong line of open communication with direct Supervisor & Management team to address and resolve issues in a timely manner to drive productivity * Supports a brand Company image by displaying a professional attitude and appearance at all times * Analytical, problem solving, and organizational abilities * Assume responsibility for productive of jobs, efficient use of materials, equipment, and contractual performance of the project * Ensure all personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, and work polices EDUCATION & LICENSES/CERTIFICATES: * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * Must possess a valid Driver's License and a safe driving record. LANGUAGE/MATHEMATICAL SKILLS & REASONING ABILITY * Must be able to use written and verbal communications in English language. REASONING ABILITY & PHYSICAL DEMANDS * Ability to work aloft. * Must have manual dexterity and the ability to utilize various hand tools and test equipment. * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. * Must be able to kneel, crawl, push, pull, bend, stoop, lift and dig. * Must meet and maintain Company's safe weight policy.
