The Assistant Superintendent/Project Engineer is a hybrid role. This individual will support the construction team by managing technical documentation, coordinating daily site activities, and ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate on municipal engineering projects, including infrastructure planning and design. Support transportation initiatives such as roadway design and traffic flow analysis. Work on securing and managing grants and loans for infrastructure projects. Design and oversee water and sewer systems for both public and private clients. Participate in private residential and commercial development projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices. Provide technical expertise and project management support to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Professional certifications/registrations in Civil Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license or Fundamentals of Engineering/Engineer in Training (FE or EIT) designation (Illinois licensure preferred).
