Responsible for clinical assessment of clients experiencing a behavioral health crisis situation, or perceived crisis situation. Assessments will occur in office-based settings, tele-video, as well as community-based locations. Responsible for providing, coordinating or managing treatment options for clients in crisis situations across the service continuum from least restrictive to most secure alternatives. Responsible for making decisions in coordination with Master's level Crisis Clinician/MPA to ensure client and public safety. All cases will be staffed with an MPA. Acts as a facilitator for admission to a variety of placements within the crisis continuum, including: Crisis Stabilization Unit, Detoxification or other A&D Rehab services, state mental health hospital system and or private mental health facilities. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Education: Bachelor's degree in mental health related field required and be on track to receive a masters degree Certification: Must possess or obtain highest level of certification appropriate to degree Experience: Experience in emergency psychiatric and crisis intervention services preferred. Maintain client confidentiality according to Frontier Health policy and applicable state and federal statutes. 6. Remain current and proficient in knowledge of community resources and crisis services procedures. 7. Participate in all required supervision, staff meetings and in-service training from Frontier Health, and other required sources. 8. Provide consultation and education services to community partners, as requested. 9. Must have transportation and drive to crisis appointments. 10. All other duties as assigned.
