The Job Coach is responsible for training and coaching Work Adjustment Trainees as they learn job skills, work habits, and workplace behaviors in preparation for employment. In addition, this role includes operating a company vehicle to pick up, load, transport, and unload donated or sold goods. As needed, the Job Coach will assist with the in-store processing and sales of merchandise. Assists with the review of trainees for competitive employment placements. Maintains communications with Managers and Employment Service Supervisor (ESS) regarding program and facility operations. Conducts job coaching off premises, as appropriate. Ensures Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA), local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policies are met. Participates in scheduling trainees to ensure appropriate staffing at all times. Handles customer concerns in a quick, efficient, and professional manner. Intervenes during crisis situations in order to maintain a safe working environment. Operates the POS system, implements proper cash handling and end of-the-day balancing and closing. Acts as a willing and efficient liaison between Marana Health behavioral health and other behavioral health agencies. Interacts effectively with community members and other agency personnel to promote trust, productivity and growth. Participates in departmental meetings, client staffing, case reviews, staff development, and policy and procedure development. Maintains general behavioral health standards and keeps abreast of State and RBHA guidelines by reading and attending in-services and workshops as appropriate and indicated in staff development plan. Uses appropriate incident reporting procedures when documenting unsafe or problematic incidents involving trainees. Additional Duties: Provides job coaching in mobile and retail settings, including accompanying and supporting trainees during donation pick-ups, deliveries, and in-store merchandising. May assist with driving a company vehicle or loading/unloading donated items when part of an active coaching engagement and where physical support is required for client safety or job modeling. During low-volume trainee periods, may support store operations as part of maintaining a realistic and engaging job site for trainees, while continuing to focus on employment readiness and training goals. Sort and price merchandising of donated goods to ensure quality standards and profitability. Maximize quality and quantity of production placement of stock and sales floor through merchandising and displays. Provide services through face-to-face contacts, telephone contacts, and collateral contacts providing community, in home, and clinic-based supports. Monitor with the child and family or recovery team the individual's receipt of behavioral health services and response to those services and collaborate with the individual to determine the need for changes in provision and array of services. Establish, as appropriate and with appropriate consents, a relationship with family members, natural supports, and care providers of the individual receiving services. As appropriate, and with consent, coordinate with family members, medical providers, probation, DCS, and other agencies for information related to the individual's behavioral health needs. Facilitates Child and Family Team meetings or Adult Recovery Team meetings for ongoing assessment of the progress and needs of the individual. Interact with all components of the behavioral health delivery system, the primary care physician, and other members of the child and family or recovery team. Obtain appropriate prior authorization of inpatient, partial hospitalization, residential and other services that require prior authorization. May facilitate coordination between the behavioral health system and Pima County Jail, Arizona State Hospital, level I & II facilities, detoxification facilities, and crisis centers. Coordinates, or provides directly, transportation as needed to medically necessary behavioral health or medical services (for integrated care members). Documents all interactions and services provided in progress notes in the electronic health record. Assist in identifying third party liability. Coordinate all care and services required to enhance and facilitate the optimal physical and behavioral health wellness of persons served within a trauma-informed care framework. This includes: 1) facilitating communication between medical and behavioral health practitioners/systems; 2) assisting with scheduling of and compliance with preventative and specialty physical health interventions; 3) integrating treatment interventions to address both the physical and behavioral health needs of the person/family concurrently; 4) assist persons/families served with education and resources outlining the interplay of physical and behavioral health issues on overall wellness and quality of life. These specialties will help to improve readiness for operators, aircrew, and support personnel by decreasing the rate of injuries and accelerating return to duty times. The AWS has identified one specific sub-specialty position for support consisting of a Physical Therapist. The Contractor personnel may be required to participate in specific operator training activities to better understand SOP performance and injuries. Perform administrative duties such as maintaining records of workload. May be required to document patient encounters using mandated government systems in accordance with guidance and direction. Advise the Government on layout of the human performance facility and assist in developing facility standard operating procedures, guidelines, and exercise protocols including the safe use of strength and conditioning equipment. The Contractor shall be physically proficient in demonstrating all prescribed exercises and techniques as well as be able to hike over rough terrain, function in austere environments, and able to lift and manipulate loads and plates up to 55 pounds. The Contractor shall complete an in-processing assessment for all newly assigned personnel. Provide Human Performance Measures of Effectiveness (MOE) trending metric report to include training availability, recommendation status, utilizations, evaluations, access to care and pillars of performance. MOE's will be based off the program's needs and assessments and may change per the COR direction. Period of Performance: The contract begins on 1 September 2024 and will run for five years. U.S. Citizenship: Employee must be a U.S. citizen. For the purpose of base and network access, possession of a permanent resident card (“Green Card”) does not equate to U.S. citizenship. Is aware of all public/staff/departmental meetings that require attendance Maintains discipline and works to increase morale and cooperation within the school sports program and school community Administrative Duties: Assists head coach in scheduling, providing transportation to tournaments and special sport events. Assists in preparation for scheduled sport events or practices and adheres to scheduled facility times. Coordinates program with maintenance and school employees. Provides to the athletic director documentation necessary to fulfill school, district, and state requirements concerning physical examinations, parental consent and eligibility. Equipment and Facilities: Is accountable to the head coach for all equipment. Collects the cost of any equipment lost or not returned. Arranges issuing, marking and storing of equipment and submits an annual inventory and current records. Coordinates all equipment processing with the equipment manager. Monitors locker rooms, equipment room, training room, and coaches' offices and authorizes who may enter. Secures all doors, lights, windows and locks before leaving building. Coordinate with custodial staff on duty. Instills in each player a respect for equipment and school property, its care and proper use.
