Title: Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach DBM Classification: N/A Department: Athletics Salary Range: $2,871-Tentative Amount Employee Group: Temporary/Seasonal Reports to: Athletics Director FTE/ FLSA Status: SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES The assistant strength and conditioning coach works directly with the head strength and conditioning coach to implement a program for athletes from all high school sports. The assistant strength and conditioning coach should be able to provide clear instruction to groups, as well as individuals, while holding athletes accountable to the expectations of the program. They must provide expert instruction in the execution of prescribed exercises and drills, and be able to tailor cues and exercises based on the needs of individual athletes. The assistant strength and conditioning coach will assist in maintaining the weight room and all equipment in it, taking safety inventory of equipment and recommending repairs/upgrades to equipment as needed. Program hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:30am-8:00am and 3:20pm-5:00pm. Occasional Friday and Saturday hours may be required. Hours may fluctuate based on athletic season. Professionalism, dependability and willingness to learn are priorities for this position.
