MENTORING/DIRECT SERVICES/BEHAVIOR COACHING
Our Direct Services program is available for clients from early childhood to youth and teens, all through adulthood. We provide treatment focusing on individual goals, family support, health & wellness, life skills development, and emotion management. Direct Service BHTs are a big part of our client's treatment team, including therapists, caseworkers, probation officers, legal guardians, etc.
Individual or Group sessions are provided but not limited to the following: General Mental Health (GMH), Substance Abuse, Psycho-educational Topics, Anger Management, Emotion Regulation, Grief/Loss/Trauma, and Healthy Relationships.
We encourage the development of healthy relationships and personal growth through group and individual treatment programs. Our mentors and clinicians work closely with the client's treatment teams, families, and guardians to ensure they receive the most effective services.

Must Haves:

Advocates for their department

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Must pass Department of Public Safety Fingerprint clearance check.
Must be United States citizen or have valid work visa at date of hire with the ability to maintain. All changes in visa status must be reported to Human Resources immediately. Photo identification and work visa, (if necessary), will be needed for fingerprint clearance card and I-9 documentation prior to first day of work.

We are currently seeking a dedicated BHT who will serve as a positive role model to support, lead, and encourage youth and young adults. You will have the chance to form lasting relationships, encourage positive behavior, and design activities to promote the overall welfare of participants, all while increasing your knowledge of social work, behavioral studies, and management skills. MENTORING/DIRECT SERVICES/BEHAVIOR COACHING
Our Direct Services program is available for clients from early childhood to youth and teens, all through adulthood. We provide treatment focusing on individual goals, family support, health & wellness, life skills development, and emotion management. Direct Service BHTs are a big part of our client's treatment team, including therapists, caseworkers, probation officers, legal guardians, etc.
Individual or Group sessions are provided but not limited to the following: General Mental Health (GMH), Substance Abuse, Psycho-educational Topics, Anger Management, Emotion Regulation, Grief/Loss/Trauma, and Healthy Relationships.
We encourage the development of healthy relationships and personal growth through group and individual treatment programs. Our mentors and clinicians work closely with the client's treatment teams, families, and guardians to ensure they receive the most effective services.

Must Haves:
Must meet the minimum state licensing requirement for Behavioral Health Technicians or Para Professionals
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age
High School Diploma or GED
Experience working with at-risk or behavioral health care with youth, teens, or adults
Valid AZ Driver's License with no restrictions

Salary:
$23.00 - $27.00 per hour based on education and experience in the behavioral health field

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Position is responsible for coaching student athletes in game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition. Position motivates student athletes to develop an appreciation of the sport.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (These duties are a representative sample; position assignments may vary.)
· Holds organizational meetings for team prospects and encourages potential athletes to participate in the sport.
· Assesses player's skills and assigns team positions.
· Develops a regular practice schedule and organizes practice time to provide both individual and team development.
· Works with the athletics director in scheduling facilities for practices and competition.
· Assigns duties to an assistant coach as necessary.
· Coaches and instructs players, individually or in groups, regarding the rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of the sport.
· Observes players, during competition and practice to determine the needs for individual or team improvement.
· Determines game strategy based on the team's capabilities.
· Establishes and maintains standards of pupil behavior and provides proper supervision of athletes.
· Monitors the academic performance of team members to ensure that eligibility requirements are met; and encourages student athletes to maintain a high academic standard.
· Follows established procedures in the event of an athlete's injury.
· Conferences with parents/guardians, as necessary, regarding the athletic performance of their student.
· Follows state, regional, and district regulations governing the athletic program.
· Models' sportsmanlike behavior and maintains appropriate conduct towards players, officials, and spectators.
· Acts as a team representative and promotes the sport by communicating with the booster clubs, service clubs, and other organizations.
· Follows established procedures for the proper care, maintenance, requisitioning of equipment, supplies, and uniforms.
· Works with the athletic director to develop a policy for awards and submits a list of award winners at the end of the season.
· Participates in special activities to include parent's night, banquets, award nights, and pep assemblies.
· Maintains eligibility forms, emergency information, insurance records, equipment inventory, and other related records.
· Models' nondiscriminatory practices in all activities.
· Potentially drive athletes using district transportation to and from off campus games on 14 passenger Activity Bus and provide proof of insurance as requested.
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· Prior coaching experience

· Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (FPCC)
