Electrical Designer
for Burlington office. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the design and drafting of electrical systems and lighting for educational, commercial, healthcare, and industrial facilities. The candidate will also be enthusiastic, have a desire to work and grow with a multidiscipline engineering team, and be willing to have fun.
Expected annual salary of $75,000 - $90,000.
Qualifications
Graduation from a certified CAD training program or a Technical/Associates degree in engineering or related field (preferred)
Technical/Professional expertise with 3 or more years of electrical design experience in an electricalengineering environment.
Proficiency in:
AutoCAD versions 2010 -2019
3D design software, Autodesk Revit (preferred), Intergraph CADWorx a plus.

Design and drawing package development on multidiscipline projects
Setting up new projects utilizing the AutoCAD sheet set manager, template files, dynamic referencing, and coordinated X-refs
Coordinating with clients and outside design team members on drafting standards and file exchanges

Required Responsibilities Include:
Prepare layouts; provide input for design proposals and drawings; and analyze and resolve design and production issues in areas such as Power Distribution and Electrical Systems.
Incorporate design concepts from schematic design into design development and final construction drawings. Determine scale and prepare layouts for detailing.
Become familiar with accepted design/drafting methods and concepts, engineering and design principles, terminology, and manufacturing materials.
Provide recommendations for design adaptations and modifications.
Under supervision, incorporate decision recommendations. Make decisions regarding design suitability using knowledge of specified product materials and production process.
Apply codes, identify alternatives and solutions to code exceptions, and devise new approaches to problems encountered.
Perform mathematical calculations using engineering formulas and analysis tools.
Become familiar with coordinating across a variety of building design disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, architectural, and structural.

Summary/Objective
The Austin Company performs design-build work for industrial and specialized commercial markets. Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Electrical Designer for Burlington office. The successful candidate will have 0-3 years of experience in the design and drafting of electrical systems and lighting for educational, commercial, healthcare, and industrial facilities. The candidate will also be enthusiastic, have a desire to work and grow with a multidiscipline engineering team, and be willing to have fun.
Expected annual salary of $56,000 - $70,000.
Qualifications
Graduation from a certified CAD training program or a Technical/Associates degree in engineering or related field (preferred)
Proficiency in:
AutoCAD versions 2010 -2019
3D design software, Autodesk Revit (preferred), Intergraph CADWorx a plus.
Bluebeam Revu
Design and drawing package development on multidiscipline projects
Setting up new projects utilizing the AutoCAD sheet set manager, template files, dynamic referencing, and coordinated X-refs
Coordinating with clients and outside design team members on drafting standards and file exchanges
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
