The specific pay rate and level will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications, prior experience and location. "A Day in the Life" As the Inbound Sales Specialist, you will use strategies and tactics for identifying, pursuing, and closing opportunities for renting and selling modular buildings across a variety of industry segments. In this role, you will support the sales team with managing and qualifying inbound web leads and phone calls generated by our marketing lead generation programs. In addition, you will work with the Regional Sales Manager on existing customers' lease addendums, purchase of equipment of rent, and customer to customer contract takeovers. In this position you will be expected to handle a high volume of daily calls with prospective customers in a strategic and consultative manner, with warm handoffs to other sales representatives when appropriate due to timing or complexity constraints. As the Sales Specialist you are responsible for achieving assigned monthly performance goals, as well as supporting the team's performance goals.

"What You'll Do"
* Fields and qualifies all assigned territory leads to ensure proper escalation and management of new business opportunities.
* Escalates qualified leads to the appropriate sales representative with an overview of the prospect's modular needs, contact information, and other pertinent information.
* In conjunction with the Sales Team, manages the sale/lease and fulfillment of modular buildings from inbound lead opportunities in partnership with Operations and Inventory Center, as defined by the Regional Sales Manager.
* In conjunction with the Regional Sales Manager, quotes and closes purchase of equipment off rent, lease addendums and customer to customer contract takeovers.
* Works with existing customers as needed to assist in billing inquiries.
* Nurtures cold prospects through ongoing follow up, and providing basic information on products, pricing, applications, conversion to order, etc.
* Maintains and audits a detailed and accurate log of lead qualifying activities in the Mobile Modular CRM application.
* Gathers competitive intelligence while qualifying leads and documents competitive information within the CRM.
* Develops and maintains effective relationships with the sales, operations, inventory center and marketing team to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
* Contributes to data quality efforts by creating, cleansing and maintaining accurate customer data.
* Develops and maintains an up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and competition.
* Participates in team meetings and shares ideas to increase team performance.
* Communicates regularly with leadership regarding lead quality and performance.
* Generates outbound prospecting lists and executes cold calls to targeted industries and customer types as time allows.

3-5 years of experience in a sales, operations or customer service related role.
Customer service focus.
Must have the self-discipline to handle a high volume of daily calls or follow-up that will include sending quotes to prospective customers.
Outstanding interpersonal skills, writing skills, and telephone skills required.
Great attitude, energy and enthusiasm are critical.

Ability to multi-task; flexible and comfortable working in a fast paced environment and committed to meeting deadlines.
Must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.

BS/BA/BBA degree or equivalent years of sales experience preferred.
Prior experience in modular building industry, construction, or other related industries is preferred.
M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm, potential hybrid option (3 days in the office after training, flexible).
