A Court Security Officer (CSO) is a specialized security position providing protective services at or around United State Federal Court Houses or other areas as assigned under a contract to the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS). Requirements: Knowledge of basic nursing techniques and procedures, aseptic practices, and proficiency obtaining vital signs; Current BLS; Tolerance, patience, empathy and concern are desirable; High school diploma or equivalent; State certification as a nursing assistant mandatory; Complete familiarity with duties of a certified nursing assistant; Functional literacy in English is required; High school diploma or GED with further training to achieve certification; Able to work schedule as posted; Demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to comply with policies and procedures; Able to follow spoken and written instructions; Genuine desire to work with the elderly; Knowledge of general sanitary and safety practices; An up-beat and engaging personality; Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push, pull, bend, kneel, and stand as needed.
