Position Summary
Applicants must have a degree in a liberal arts or humanities field. Degrees, for example, in art history, literature, musicology, film studies, classics, history, or philosophy would be relevant. Successful candidates will teach HUM 110 Discovery and Discernment Through the Arts. This involves teaching the basic elements of literature, visual arts, music, theater, and film and guiding students to develop skills of analysis, interpretation, and critical judgment of the arts. Additional responsibilities may include advising students.

Position Summary
Applicants must have a degree in a liberal arts or humanities field. Degrees, for example, in art history, literature, musicology, film studies, classics, history, or philosophy would be relevant. Successful candidates will teach HUM 110 Discovery and Discernment Through the Arts. This involves teaching the basic elements of literature, visual arts, music, theater, and film and guiding students to develop skills of analysis, interpretation, and critical judgment of the arts. Additional responsibilities may include advising students.
Adjunct positions are contracted on a semester-by-semester basis.

Description of Position
NNU's College of Behavioral and Social Sciences is seeking to fill a part-time, associated faculty position in the PsyD department beginning Fall 2025. This faculty member will contribute to the PsyD program through teaching, supervising research, and mentoring students. We are seeking candidates with expertise in clinical skills, assessment, research methods, or other relevant areas of psychology.
Essential Functions:
Teach at least one class per semester, with flexibility to distribute a minimum of 14-18 credits (.58-.75 time) annually across fall, spring, and summer terms based on individual preference.
Develop and update syllabi to align with accreditation standards and program outcomes.
Supervise PsyD students in their clinical work as a licensed clinical psychologist, providing mentorship and oversight of clinical competencies.
Guide doctoral students through the dissertation process.
Participate in program curriculum revisions.
Maintain weekly office hours to support student learning and development.
Attend and contribute to PsyD faculty and committee meetings (approximately twice monthly).
Participate in PsyD student interviews and PsyD program events.

Job Description
Idaho State University's Department of Mechanical and Measurement & Control Engineering (MMCE) invites applications to join our dynamic and growing team. The position is for a 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Biomechanical Engineering starting August 2026.
As an Assistant Professor in MMCE, the expectations for the successful applicant are to participate in developing and teaching both undergraduate and graduate mechanical engineering courses, as well as in the core undergraduate curriculum, to build a collaborative, externally funded research program and to perform professional service. Consideration will be given to applicants with broad research interests in Biomechanical Engineering which may include but are not limited to biomechanics, medical devices/wearables, rehabilitation engineering, biomaterials, and medical imaging. To aid in these endeavors, the candidate is expected to participate synergistically with MMCE faculty in the activities of the Measurement and Control Engineering Research Center (MCERC) and other research activities in the College of Science and Engineering (CoSE) and across campus.

Job Description
This job announcement will be used to fill a vacancy on the Meridian campus. Faculty members are responsible for carrying out matters related to the didactic education program in coordination with the program director. These matters may include: accreditation/certification; program planning and assessment; developing and achieving annual goals/objectives; program marketing and student recruitment; student advising; fieldwork educator and fieldwork site training and
development; and budget oversight and review. Faculty members also serves as a community contact and representative of the Master's of Occupational Therapy (MOT) program and faculty.
This position is not eligible for new visa sponsorship at this time. Candidates who already hold valid U.S. work authorization may be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching Responsibilities:
1. Develop, organize, and deliver course content as assigned by the program director related to and in line with the program curriculum.
2. Provide direct instruction in lecture, laboratory-based, and/or fieldwork courses as assigned by the program director using a variety of delivery methods.
3. Maintain an open and responsive communication policy with students which is supported by departmental guidance.
4. Evaluate student performance and overall learning achievement by developing and administering objective learning assessments that are supported by the ACOTE standards.
5. Maintain accurate students records, adhering to FERPA regulations and fair and ethical teaching and grading methods.
6. Implementing an early warning system and communicate student performance concerns according to program and departmental policy and procedures.
7. Adhere to student remediation policies and maintain academic and clinical practice integrity related to FERPA regulations.
8. Supervise and direct teaching assistance as applicable.
9. Critically self-reflect and seek professional development to remain current with content knowledge in clinical area of expertise in order to update course content as applicable.
10. Critically self-reflect and seek professional development to remain current with best practice in teaching, learning, and educational technology for positive student outcomes.
Research Responsibilities:
1. Engage and participate in research activity to develop a line of clinical inquiry in collaboration with academic faculty.
2. Assist with the development of grant proposals as requested.
3. Serve as an advisor for student research projects as needed and requested by the program director.
4. Add to the professional body of knowledge and actively disseminate scholarly products.
Service Responsibilities:
1. Actively participate in the program, department, college, and university administration needs as assigned by the program director.
2. Maintain professional, collegial, and respectful interpersonal relationships with members of the campus, professional, and local community.
3. Engage in professional service at the institution, local/regional/state, and national level.
4. Positively represent the program, department, college, and university as requested or assigned by the program director or senior leadership.
5. Complete other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Master's degree in OT, or Bachelor's degree in OT and Master's degree or higher in related field (degree must be awarded by an institution that is accredited by a USDE recognized institutional accrediting agency)
2. Three (3) years of documented full-time clinical experience (or equivalent to 3 years full-time) as an occupational therapist
3. Current license to practice OT in the state of Idaho or ability to obtain OT licensure in the state of Idaho by applicants start date
4. Current NBCOT Certification
5. Current AOTA membership at the time of application (expiration date after anticipated start date)
6. All materials submitted including (3) references, CV/resume and cover letter, and statement of teaching philosophy
Preferred Qualifications
1. Documented current expertise in the areas of adult OT experience, especially in geriatrics and/or neurorehab.
2. At least 5 years of full-time clinical experience in occupational therapy practice (or the equivalent to 5 years of full-time experience)
3. Doctoral degree or evidence of intent to earn a doctoral degree (degree in progress, application submitted, correspondence with a program to inquire about beginning, etc.) in occupational therapy or related field
4. Advanced certifications related to the practice of occupational therapy education
5. At least 3 years of teaching experience, including experience as a fieldwork educator or in higher education within an OT or OTA program
6. Experience with the accreditation process
7. Experience with distance technology to support classroom instruction
8. Evidence of research dissemination and experience mentoring student research projects
9. Experience with mentorship as either a mentor or mentee
10. Commitment to fostering a respectful environment for all
