Perform a variety of routine product shipping, receiving and delivery duties in support of the Warehouse Department and individual branch. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Perform a variety of duties in the operation of the Warehouse Department such as moving slabs, yard organization and/or maintenance in addition to driving company truck for delivery of quartz slabs. 2. Essential Functions • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship) • Help with ensuring correct material is pulled and loaded on our truck for delivery • Deliver materials to the job site • Recording selected merchandise in accordance with standard operating procedures • Ensuring correct and complete labels are attached to all orders processed • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers • Operate and preventively maintain warehouse equipment • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations • Working in accordance with all warehouse safety regulations • Load finished product onto truck • Other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager regarding the warehouse or deliveries • Navigate equipment through a warehouse to collect customer orders • Other relative duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications • Minimum Education - High School diploma or GED • Forklift certification preferred • Clean driving record and current operator's license • At least 21 years of age to drive for the company • Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Experience driving trucks for delivery • Knowledge of architectural door materials and hardware preferred • Good communication skills - Proper use of company issued devices • Ability to do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms • Ability to work closely & cordially with other staff associates Physical Demands This position requires physical activity consistent with a construction or installation environment. The employee will spend more than two-thirds of their time standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, using hands to handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. Approximately one-third of the time may be spent walking and engaging in verbal communication or listening. Frequent lifting and moving of materials weighing between 25 and 50 pounds is required. Work Environment This role may involve travel to project sites and exposure to a variety of environmental conditions. Job Description Summary Drives Class A Trucks to transport materials to and from specified destinations, by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Understands and complies with CSE Inc. Safety Program, rules, regulations and updates. Understands OSHA and DOT standards relating to transportation and fleet safety; works within current regulations Becomes familiar with supervisory personnel, job activity to be performed, hazard communication program, safety rules and regulations, and emergency action procedures. Operates tractor, trailer, forklifts, and/or JLG-type man-lifts, and/or scissor-lifts and/or similar equipment. Setting up and breaking down cranes. Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations Assembles, dissembles, and transports loads. Loads and unloads truck in a safe and controlled manner to ensure safety of personnel and property. Performs daily inspection on truck, equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water; completes defect reports for any deficiencies and returns form to dispatch office. Performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs. Washes and fuels truck upon return to yard. This position is not limited to driving. You could be assigned other duties or task as needed within the company. Requirements: Current Class A Commercial Driver's License. Must meet CSE, Inc., Motor Vehicle guidelines.
